Dear Mr. President

Mr. President

Almost a whole week has gone by with politics as usual - your Republican friends are busy throwing your predecesor under the bus.  Some would think the they were made to go along party lines.

Thank you for standing up and telling us where we are and not focusing on the drama of how we got there.  I hope your example washes over to your fellow Democrats and Republicans.

So, if you would please, just tell us the facts, plain and simple - just like you would be telling your daughters.   Try not to demonize Wall Street - or K Street we need them now and will need them in the future.  Hopefully a little more wise and showing a growth spurt in intergity.

I wasn't sure if you and the family were coming over to the house this Sunday - let me know.

I think this is the attitude we need right now. The scapegoating is becoming redundant. The people who need to "get it" are those who always fail to.
Lovely sentiments. I wish I could share your optimism about the folks on Wall Street and K Street, but I have serious doubts they will ever "get" it. Unless, of course, you mean

"Them that's got shall get, them that's not shall lose"
