Brothers Where do I go? When its all gone? Homeless

Rate: 7 Flag

How do I fit in?  This morning, parked / living in my soon to be repo'd car at one of the local 24 - 7 grocery store's parking lot.  My discovery, here I can stay and not be bothered while near to a clean restroom to freshen up.  My heart awaits the morning sun and soon to start dumpster diving after they pitch the old and outdated, like me.  I pray that my mom can't see me like this - its Mother's Day.

So much cruel down time

Cast out with a gouged soul

My God smile on me

I'd like to see more of this. In this brief post, you've created a powerful character. With your experience, we could learn a lot about homelessness through this person.
Your bio says "currently working with those less fortunate". So what are you doing for yourself? What advice did you give others?
Agreed.

I'd love to hear more.

I am sorry for your plight. Anything we here can do to help?

Message me with your thoughts. I might not find my way back.

Thank you all - my actual experiences are confidential and cannot be given under any circumstance - I gave my word and it is part of the protocol.

However, I am not asking for anything but your honesty and suggestions as we see, taste and feel the journey of this soul.

There is a young mother parked up two rows ahead of me. She has a minivan - one of those rice burners, I think it is a Honda. Strapped with her baby in one of those carriers around her shoulders, she manages to load in all her groceries. Now, she gingerly puts the baby into the baby's car seat - I think the baby is asleep. It looks like she has forgotten something as she looks into those plastic bags and develops frown on her face. Yep, she has - she closes the van door and heads back toward the store.
Gramps,

You can not say because you gave your word to someone, you have my support. If there is a problem and your word still has meaning, that means something.

Now on to a different story. I smell something, maybe a documentary or some other sort of project. Here's why:

You work for the less fortunate, but you have become one. So unless the world really takes a shit on someone it's the people who help the less fortunate who seldom become one. They see it coming and avoid the pitfalls.

Your worried about "protocol". Broke people don't have protocols. They have problems and don't worry about the formalities about getting out of living in their car.

Finally, you are in a car that is ready to be repo'd in a grocery store parking lot. You are watching a mother load groceries in a minivan. You are also blogging which means you have a laptop and aircard for internet access. For me the laptop and internet access goes long before the place to live goes.

While I smell a story I hope I'm right because you are only SOL until you are done with what ever you are working on. When you are let me know what it is please. If I'm wrong, you do have my best wishes. Please don't confuse my skeptical nature as not caring. There are people in this world who need and should get our help. There are also those who game the system.
if this is you God bless you will survive
