Since this summer may go down as the singular most challenging extended period of time in my life and my blogging is sporadic and at times like a car crash you can not look away from it makes absolute sense that a random site would pick my blog to be featured. Thus is life and to be honest it was a much needed head nod to keep writing through this summer of H-E-double-hockey-sticks. Check out the benevolent souls featuring me HERE.
And now not to name names but do not under any circumstance go to a discount hair cut chain without a real life referral to a stylist because blind faith in a random stranger to significantly alter your childrens appearance is never a good idea. Which is why Charlie has one sideburn a whole lot higher than the other and a nick in his ear. I somewhat salvaged the results with the clippers and going way shorter than I wanted to still leaving the top long. Still fun to spike. Ruby on the other hand was happy accident because the hack job she received led to a solid hour of me doing my future dream job and cutting her hair back into a cute haircut. I didn't take a before picture but think extremely bushy and uneven triangle shape with the apex at the crown or just a huge wedge of cheese on a stick. I am quite proud of the results and we colored her faded pink streak purple today so in my opinion she looks fabulous and adorable with a tasteful side note of Punky Brewster. I have decided to start saving for hair school so that when Charlie is in all day school I can start RIGHT AWAY!
