Hey! Well, in case you haven't been following our journey over the last three months (wow...we've been wandering through Europe for three months) you can catch up by reading the last four or five posts.
Usually, I try to write a lyrical and informative post about our adventures and what we've been learning. But this post is simply a few photos for my mom. She's been following this blog as a way to connect. We've had limited communication, calling occasionally via skype, and sending postcards.
Last weekend, I celebrated my thirtieth birthday in Paris at Shakespeare and Co's Literary Festival. I wanted to post a few photos from that weekend.

On a bridge over the River Seine. (Don't we look European?)
David bought me a birthday tiara.
Isn't my husband sexy?
Meeting one of my literary heroines, Jeanette Winterson.
I promise to write a real post next time. Thanks for sharing this day with me.
