Liz Cheney Wants To Keep America Safe. And Misinformed.
Those kooky Cheneys... What will they do next? Perhaps all those chants of "Cheney for President 2012!" were actually referring to Dick's daughter Liz. Liz Cheney, whom Huff Post editor Roy Sakoff called, "a chip off the old block. And I don't meant that as a compliment," is heading a group called Keep America Safe. Cheney heads the group alongside Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol and Debra Burlingame, whose brother was a pilot killed on 9/11. And like so many socially conscious, hard-right activism groups, Keep America Safe and Cheney are letting Americans know that they are in some serious trouble if they don't rethink her father's approach to protecting the nation and seriously question Obama's "radical" foreign policy decisions.
Here's a little video Liz and her pals threw together in the interest of your political and foreign policy education:
Boy, that sure was an education. Who knew Obama spent so much time goofing off and playing games? Maybe I should have voted for that McCain fella after all. Hell, he's too old to play a serious game of golf (tired by the fourth hole). And he'd never waste time trying to talk to children. They always seem to scream and run away whenever he tries.
Well, despite her criticisms of Obama, it seems Liz is wasting her time talking to children, too. Those of the adult variety. They're the only ones who could use up one solid brain cell actually considering any of this to be based in reality.
Hari Sevugan, the DNC National Press Secretary, responded to Liz Cheney's new message to Americans with:
"Last fall, the American people overwhelmingly rejected a radical foreign policy authored by Dick Cheney that alienated our allies, emboldened our enemies, depleted our resources, distracted our focus and made the nation less secure. The Cheneys lost that debate and their approach was deemed a failure. The Cheneys can continue to focus on securing their sullied legacy if they want to. But, the President will continue to focus on securing the country."

The Cheney's can keep lying if they want. We moved on past that point already. Now it's more a question of how long until they finally do investigations.
She looks a bit more wholesome than her father, but there's time for her to develop that contemptuous, curled lip sneer.
The quote tops it off. (Rated.)
