I will be tapering off my participation on OS shortly. I will be traveling again and I expect to be a great deal busier with my day job.
The intensity of blogging is a vicious, demanding companion for me.
Professionally, I provide sales and management training to large corporations when they can afford to do so. Lately... that is a challenge... but that is not the point. I continue to do it because I cannot afford to stop.
Thus far I am saved by customers that need completely new solutions and it has fallen to me to develop new products and new delivery alternatives. We will only endure if I am successful.
My dream is to get into film production. I want to be directly involved in the creative development of a major motion picture before I die. Since I will clearly need to start at the very bottom of the earnings ladder, I will be happy if they just let me hold the lights at first, but I will need to retire quite comfortably to pull this off. This year I intend to take the first steps in that direction. Meanwhile, tending to my blog has tweaked my creative juices.

I've gone back and reconceptualized previous posts. I have resurrected one post from the file cabinet and added audio components to several others. The addition of music completes the orchestra of posting for me. I strive to not allow it to detract from the writing, but to complement the writing with the muical accompaniment. Much yet to figure out. I have created links to these on the lower left cover of my blog. If you take a look at some of these in your travels, please leave me a note. Your thoughts are important to me.
Finally, I am enjoying the development of new material. I still don't have the desire for political commentary that sparks the greatest degree of attention around here... but those who want to will find me.
I am going to try to do a little serious writing on the side if possible, which will be quite separate and apart from this... but the feedback and the action here is too seductive. We will see.
