It probably hasn't been that long, but it feels like I've been blogging here for quite a while. It feels like I have gone through diferent stages here where the people that I read and those who read me now, are very different from the people who read me when I first came here. I've also gone through different phases in writing as well. There was a phase where I was putting everything out there and the editors loved it... but I lived in constant fear that people I cared about might stumble upon something that was really too personal for the web. I yanked most of that. I think I've found a happy balance now as well as an assortment of different categories of posts.
Mostly, what I found in developing this is a body of work that I would never have guessed that I was capapble of producing a year ago. Where I go from here, I'm not sure... but the world looks different.
So here is an index of my posts. The links within each category are placed in chronological order, such that the first one listed will be the most recent posting. It is my hope that this will make it easy for you to find something that perhaps you missed the first time around. Something that you can enjoy today. It also helps me see what is actually here.

Harpisodes: Of the different examples of writing here on my blog, these were the easiest to write and in many cases the most acknowledged. I've also had to remove many of them including several that earned EPs last year. These "Harpisodes" (Episodes from Harp's Life) are all based upon real events, actual relationships and real people. It's the genre that caused me to stay here after wandering into the OS one day long ago. I found that writing about significant occurences in my life, even those that took place ages ago, was therapeutic. Unfortunately, I also recognized that some of what I was commiting to the World Wide Web was a tad too personal and needed to be censored... by me. She Rocks and She Rocks Redux was fairly widely read because of the EPs. The Camden series was well received because I promoted it. Blood Beneath the Floor or The Ice Palace were pretty much just overlooked. The four part Tapestry series was written during and after my own personal bout with cancer. Trust me when I say that I was scared. I was also in Oklahoma City after the bombing to work with some very traumatized people. There's more if you choose to take a look. Thanks guys.

Fiction: What follows here is pure imagination and storytelling. There are a few series that I am very proud of including the tales of old man Cheney and his erotic journeys into a whole different world. If you missed that entirely, it begins with Cheney's Gift and goes on to Cheney Feathers. The last episode is Cheney's Jungle Girl. The four posts based upon the Rodeo Clown were my very first ventures into writing fiction of any sort. My style was a little heavy handed at first, but a few folks found it interesting.
Vampiro Brasileiro Copacetic - Cooper's Story Everything is Copacetic So Funny I Could Die The Wave Cheney's Jungle Girl "Man Down" at Studio 52 Cheney Feathers Cheney's Gift For the Love of Lucy (Retitled) Mirror of Fidelity ~ Rocks of Pain Games People Play Death Trade - Street Corner Retribution Rejection The East-Bound Blue Line Train-The Rodeo Clown...Conclusion I Feed the Fire - The Rodeo Clown - Part Three "Freakish" - The Rodeo Clown- Part Two The Rodeo Clown
Erotica: I've tried to eliminate the inevitable overlap that comes from writing pure erotic fiction and writing erotica that is based upon actual events. With the exception of The Southern State Parkway and Erogenous Aisles in Publix, this section is entirely erotic fiction. The others are based upon actual occurences but I took them well beyond memories and into fantasy. There is quite a bit of erotic down in Harpisodes as well.

Salon Stuff: These posts came about in an assortment of ways. Most typically a member, suggested the equivalent of an Open Call. Otherwise what you find here was somehow inspired by my role as a citizen/observer of the salon.

Star Wars Influence: Surprisingly, these are the most fun and some of the ones that I will be doing a great deal more of. Both have been recent posts and in these instances, Star Wars is simply used as an instrument to help explain observations and occurences taking place around us. Lucas was far more brilliant than he is given credit for, and unless we realize that he opened up a predictive world where science and imagination are intimate lovers... we are missing out. Trust me... I would never suggest that you kiss a Wookie.
Come "Blade Runner" Come "Cyborg" The Sexuality of Clones Harmless Comic Characters or Racist Robt Caricatures?
Travelogue: I've traveled extensively to some exotic and wonderful places, like Thailand, Australia, France, and the Canary Islands. Most of my travels have not yet been featured, but you can find posts from the countries mentioned right here. In addition, trips back home to New York City take on a whole new perspective with the advent of blogging. I invite you to share it with me. In each case you will find surprises and personal insight that go far beyond any travel brochure.

Book or Movie Reviews: Admittedly, Cannery Row could also be listed in the Travelogue section or the Harpisodes section of this index. Either could work. I like it here because the movie seems to echo throughout the post for me.

News Items: Rarely do I write about about the political issues or current events of the times. I make the assumption that there is already more than enough of that on the airways and here in the OS. What few contributions I've been moved to make are listed here.

Humor: Zuma suggested her own Open Call and it was a lot of fun. Who knew that I could be funny? You tell me.

Music: When I get the felling and I want to share it. There were others. ??!? There will be more.
Red Fringe and Music to Move You
Poetry: I've always been able to write poetry that rhymes, but this has been experimentation with vastly diffeent styles. Much to learn here.

Thanks! S
If It was winter time, I'd tip my Coyote hat.
I really do have one. It was a gift from a widow.
You know? Vietnam? `Nam. Friends grieve war.
I have a straw Amish hat with a Lady Bug symbol.
In the autumn I'll tip a black Llama wool hat. okay.
The alpaca has soft black fleece wool. It's still alive.
I did not ask about the poor coyote. a cold adz tho?
You make readers root, mature, think, grow, bloom.
You remind me:`Someone said`Ya sure did change!
Of course! Well. Are we supposed to do skunk stunts?
I hope we change. Life is impermanence. Oh Zeus. BIO?
Homer:`
Ah how shameless said Zeus:`The ways these mortals blame the gods.
From us alone, they say, come all their miseries, yes, but they themselves,
with their reckless ways,
compound their pains
beyond proper share.
It's all about Justice!
It's clear. Folk know!
They lie. Depraved?
Thanks. Best to Ya!

Also, good on you for Star Wars' support. After watching a Star Wars' film, you feel like you can walk more boldly about. Always appreciated that.
Owl Says Who … (big grin) Did you find something that you haven’t read?
Life Is Good … Well I’m certainly glad you remembered to comment. Please let me know if you find something new to you.
CoyoteOldStyle … It does look like a lot of work doesn’t it… but it really didn’t take that much time. By copying my list from Manage Posts the list retains my hyperlinks. The rest is a lot of categorizing and sorting in Excel, and creating a collage for each category. It really was fun.
Arthur …
There was a time when I tried to read your comments.
They did not fit expectations so I did not read them…
Only too happy to have a comment,
And chalked you up to eccentric Arthur.
If this smells like a confession, you are right.
Inhale and savor the frangrance.
Now I know better.
Eccentric perhaps,
But I would be foolish to miss the meaning
And the sentiments in your comments.
Now I read them and at times
I try to respond in kind,
Although no one
Can write
Quite
Like Arthur James.
Patrick … Thank you and welcome to my blog. Please let me know if find some good stuff here that suits you. If you like Star Wars please do not miss The Sexuality of Clones.
Scanner … I think we’ve gotta roll with the punches here on the OS. Find ways to satisfy your needs if you choose to play in this cornfield. I like it here. I know that there are people here who like my stuff. For now that has to be sufficient. Thanks for coming. Please let me know if find something that you really like.
Aphra … We Belong To A Mu-tu-al Ad-mir-a-tion Society. (grin) Please let me know if you find something new that’s old that you really like. Meanwhile I will be reading your stuff. (bigassgrin)
I'll try to catch up reading this weekeng.

Peter … I just came back from reading “Australia” … it was hilarious. Great job.
Lea … Hey lady, welcome back and thank you.
Just Cathy … (Grin) I am eager to hear what you think of some of the older stuff. I am looking for feedback.
Jimenace … I hope you enjoy what you find my friend. The advantage to categorizing stuff this way, is that you have a better chance of selecting the kind of stuff you want to read. If you can think of some ways to make it better yet, I would appreciate it.
