Regardless of whether you think a U.S. president should visit a daytime talk show answering questions about Kim Kardashian or not, one thing Obama said was very troubling and that was in response to a question of whether or not it would be a tight re-election campaign against Mitt Romney or not.

When your name is Barack Obama, it’s always going to be tight.

There was much laughing and whooping in response to his statement.

It is clear what he meant… he has a funny name (he then threw in “Hussein” at the end) and because Americans are racist or xenophobic it would be difficult for him to win.

We don’t need to belabor the point too much… it’s pretty self-explanatory and divisive.

Coming from a U.S. president it’s pretty sad, too.
