It has been a busy, busy week(s). To start off, the office has been one big hell hole. New projects keep coming. I know, I know, we must all be celebrating because in the midst of a global crisis, we're still able to get clients. So there, I have been busy recruiting i.e: sourcing, interviewing and endorsing applicants. Recruitment is not an easy task. A lot of people thought we're dilly-dallying and they're wondering how we always manage to stay gorgeous for 9 straight hours. Blame it on the genes I guess haha! Seriously though, recruitment is very much like sales. We have a quota and we need to deliver or else, as my previous manager said, heads will roll.
Okay, so at home is where I get to relax and unwind...Not! Pepper (the shih tzu) needs to bathe once a week, so me and him usually do it on the weekends. Being OC (Obssessive-Compulsive) parents, we spend around an hour or so to make sure she's all clean and her hair's all fluffy and nice. Summer's here, temperature is at 30 degrees celsius and we're out in the backyard trying to keep Pepper still while we're lathering shampoo. The blow drying part is not exactly my favorite task. When I do it, I sweat a bucketload. Whew. Just don't try imagining it. It is not a pretty picture.
So after doing the deed on the dog, I go and do household chores. So this takes, oh let's say, half a day. Bye Bye Saturday.
Sundays are more relaxing than Saturdays. I get to curl in my fave chair with the latest Ayn Rand I got from a second hand store. In the afternoon, he would come over and we'll go downtown and scan the latest finds in the market.
Time flies so fast when you're relaxed and comfortable isn't it? Sunday whizzed by so fast I didn't even hear the alarm on Monday morining.
