Bio
In my own life, I have had on going struggles of depression off and on throughout my life. Recently diagnosed with Dysthymic disorder (Major depression disorder ), personality disorder, and post tramatic stress disorder. I was told not to long ago to keep a journal of how I was feeling. To keep myself from a depressed state of mind. I have now started to try to reflect on my some what happy childhood. How a volunteering at a local hospital has helped socialise with the staff, and how a special guy, with pulled back curly hair brightens my day. Without his knowing. I thank God for the oppertunity of just seeing him around. My social skills because of the trama effected from these disorders has given me a chance to better write my feelings down then to verbaly express them. What caused all this emotional chaos? Two words can describe it and that is "Childhood bullying!"

Antsy pantsy Princess to be

Rate: 2 Flag

It is finally here! Well, almost anyway. Today is packing day for my journey to the Magic kingdom. Friday I leave for Disney world early. Even though I live an hour away. My  intention is to drop my bags off the hotel to get an early start at the expo.  The expo is a two day event on Friday and Saturday. However, I am planning on doing most of  my scrounging around there on Friday. Why? You soon find out.

The expo is where you go for your packet pick up  and racing bib. Seeing the race is sold out and there will be  zillions of ruuners/walkers there. My plan is to go there early bring my required information and waiver to the staff. Get my goodie bag with discounts, race bib, tracker, and commerative items. All before it gets insanely crowded. There will be vendors there selling running stuff from companys that I have heard of. Also photo opts and motivational speakers from what I have been told.

My suit case has been sitting open all week, as I decide what and what not to take. My running shoes, running clothes and tiera sit snug in it's upper corner waiting for race day. Camera  and loads of batteries await for snap shots ot me and a few other princess together as we run throughout  Epcot and Cinderella's Castle. There will plenty of staff to help us runner's for refreshments, snacks for energy and photos for us if we get split up out our groups.

There is talk about rain. It is only a 20 percent chance. In Florida,  that could  mean a 5 minute down pour and then the sun will come out then be in the upper 70's. I have also heard the front for the rain is supposed move out by Saturday. Who knows... I am not worried.

I am not overly  worried about how the race will turn out as this is my first big race. Okay my first one since 1984, when I ran a hopelessly 5k in Whitewater, Wisconsin.  My only goal is to finish, be lead to the exit area where I get draped with my finisher medal.

I know I will feel more antsie on race day when I get picked up at  3 am to head on over to the coral I am listed in. There will be entertainment and several thousand other Princesses waiting for the race to start at 5:15 am. For some of us I will be crossing the starting line at 6:15 am in  the schedule.

This will be a fun and frantic weekend for me and look forward to doing it again next year!
