A PTSD Exam
CC is going before the VA compensation and pension board to ask for more compensation because he has PTSD. Ranking disabilities sucks. But that is our mission - Proving CC to be worthy of restitution because: his body is permanently on alert; he has specific mental, physical,and emotional characteristics caused by war; and asking to be paid for this inconvenience.
In writing these blogs, I give CC a pretty hard time, but hopefully, you the reader, sees what a great guy he is. Despite the PTSD, he has stunning moments of kindness and generosity - towards loved ones and strangers. He is funny as all get out. Not to mention - when I met him in my mid thirties, he was near 'bout the sexiest man I 'd ever laid my eyeballs on. He's still all that.

He is hardwired to expect answers and responses in nanoseconds.
His emotional skin is thin and mine stretches daily to accommodate the stress of a human firecracker exploding endlessly throughout our day.
Its own dementia, the PTSD- a flame in the brain- a seizure of anger.
Pain aggravates. Inconveniences inflame.
Daily routines are fields of land mines.
With humor and self awareness, he goes from one task to the next; being a testament of endurance, preservance, generosity and love;
and in the process, peppering us with residual shell fragments of the American War in Vietnam. ______________________________

He should not be suffering because of the generosity he showed this country. He is worthy of being thanked and well taken care of, financially and emotionally.
Love is the only cure. Real unconditional love - tested proven loyalty love. Thank you - Thank you - Thank you.
I don't want to glorify war but there are certain properties that warriors have that make them important contributors to our society. I think I want to address this in much more detail than a comment, so just stay tuned.
