Beating Diabetes

Rate: 3 Flag

A close friend of mine from the UK has just written an astounding book about how he beat diabetes without resorting to drugs or insulin for the rest of his natural.

If you or a friend or family member have diabetes, this is a must-read! Check it out here:

Thanks - I'll certainly recommend it to a diabetic friend of mine who lives here in England.
Please not that this applies ONLY to Type II diabetes.

People who have "pre-diabetes" (i.e., Metabolic Syndrome X) should do their best to beat it with diet and exercise before trying any medication. Today's oral meds for Type II generally cause you to gain weight, which pretty much insures that you'll get the disease no matter what else you do.
Good point Scribblenerd, though I'm sure Andrew's book will be a great help to a lot of people. Anything that gets people to think about how they can help themselves has got to be better than popping pills or eventually shooting insulin. Diabetes UK Cymru (Wales!) has endorsed the book too.
My wife met up with Andrew and his wife back last April and he told her about the diet. I was borderline diabetic and weighing in at 18st 4lbs, overweight to say the least. I’ve since lost 3st and don’t seem to have any traces of diabetes. Still need to lose another stone but I feel a whole lot better for the diet. Others have asked how I lost the weight – I just say ‘buy the book live the dream’. Andrews new book is certainly worth the investment.
Great reviews for the book! You have control!
