I haven't posted on OS for a few days because I've been getting some interesting feedback from people who've bought my books through my other blog (Ramblings From Rhodes).
Quite a lot of British visitors who come here during the summer months (which span mid-April thru October) have never experienced a Rhodean winter and I've been asked what it's like here between November-March when the tourists aren't here.
So I set to work trawling back through the digital photos taken over the four years-plus that we've been here and I've now posted three lots of pics, with comments, hopefully giving an idea of what a Rhodean winter is like.
If you'd care to take a gander, they're here:
if you have an interest in Greece at all, maybe you'll find them enjoyable.
Oh, just one pic I'll put here then. It's a little Sardinian Warbler who flew into our window glass last February. My wife picked him up and he sat on her hand while he recovered from the shock. Then he hopped up to her shoulder and took to the air, none the worst for his experience.
Love and tolerance
