A Strange Anomaly, and Some Answers

Rate: 2 Flag

Something strange has occurred here. In the first list of rock lyrics I posted (just for a bit of fun), most who responded got nearly all of them right. I see Open Salon still as very much USA-dominated, yet most of the lyrics from the first list were from British artists, yet there was a bit of response.

I then posted the second list, in which I tried to include a lot more American artists, yet I haven't had much response to that post. Plus that jerk qiu smith wasted a lot of my page with his/her totally unrelated list of words. Where are you coming from Qiu?

Anyway, what does this tell me? It appears to suggest that American rock fans are more into British acts than American ones!

I don't know what it suggests -- but you've got some great tunes listed here. And this is the second time this week that I've thought of the Travellin' Wilburys. Gotta love those guys.
Thanks for the tunes.
Honestly, I got caught up in driving the kids hundreds of miles in search of a decent used car and forgot. Oops.
Found some of what I needed here, perhaps it's time for me to hear the violins in It's a Beautiful Day. Hot Summer Days await me. Thank you.
It's a Beautiful Album, still, after all these years. Thanks for the comment. It's nice to know you were prompted to get it out again.
I love it because I'm a person not a purse. Thanks again, I'll definitely be back for more.
