A friend forwarded me an e-mail detailing the possibility that Obama could be a plant, by going back through his past and examining various inconsistencies and troubling questions which have gone unanswered. Perhaps many of you have received these viral e-mails, like the one claiming Obama is a Muslim.
Come on. Conservatives need to stop investigating Obama, start looking at the polls and wake up. However entertaining, none of these viral e-mails addresses the real problem: the poll respondents who have him in the lead. Therein lies the problem.
Americans don't care that Obama is a socialist; why should they care who planted him? Just this weekend, while greeting voters, Obama was confronted by a plumber who said, 'you're going to raise my taxes, aren't you,’ to which Obama replied, 'I just want to spread it around.' That's codespeak for socialism, Marxism and all the other redistribution ideologies that have failed over the last century or so.
The bottom line is this: Americans are ignorant and ill-informed. They believe Obama will be powerless to harm the country or their bank accounts, even though he will have both houses of Congress in his pocket to enact any tax increase he wishes.
Voters will get exactly what they deserve when they elect an anti-American socialist on November 4. Despite the complete and utter failure of the Bush administration, the polls shouldn't be close. Voters should look at the impressive characters supporting Obama (Chavez, Castro and Ahmadinejad), at his background and philosophies, his past as a street thug intimidating banks to make loans to people who couldn't afford them and his involvement with Acorn, Ayers and Rezko. And most importantly, they should examine his ideology.
That this election is close is a testament one of two realities: the stupidity of Americans, or their sudden embrace of Marx and wealth redistribution. Neither of the two conclusions is comforting.
In response to the financial crisis of last week, Russia's communist newspaper Pravda headlined with 'The triumphant return to the teachings of Marx and Engels.' Perhaps on November 5, we'll be staring at a similar headline in The New York Times.

I wish I could remember the post on here from a couple of weeks ago including data from a non-partisan group showing that Americans have done financially better under Democrats than Republicans and that there has not been a difference in tax rates under Dems or Reps. Frankly, it barely matters which party is which. Obama isn't the second coming of Marx. You can vote people out of Congress every 2 years and the President every 4 years if you don't like what's going on. Gimme a break.
You say;"That's codespeak for socialism, Marxism and all the other redistribution ideologies that have failed over the last century or so."
While it is evident that Russian-style communism has failed, it is not so certain that Marxism has done likewise. And certainly socialism is alive and triving in many lands, notably the Scandinavian countries. It may come as a surprise to you that progressive income taxes, such as we have had in the U.S. since 1913, are a form of "redistribution", and while some rail against it, there has never been any serious attempt to repeal it.
You further say: "Americans are ignorant and ill-informed. They believe Obama will be powerless to harm the country or their bank accounts, even though he will have both houses of Congress in has pocket to enact any tax increase he wishes."
You're certainly taking a leap of faith here. Most commentators I have heard recently have serious doubts that Democrats will have a sixty seat majority in the senate, so it is not at all clear that he will have congress "in his pocket."
However, from your lips to God's ear.
The only capital gains taxes that I know of that would affect my small business would be if I SOLD my business at a profit.
So if we are not selling our small businesses how would an elimination of cap gains help any of us?? Please inform.
Also...depending upon how you have your small business set up tax wise ALL of the talk of tax reductions for small businesses under $250,000.00 is confusing. IF you do not set it up as personal income is Mr. Obama talking of 250 grand net or gross? Would this include inventory? I have asked these questions in many different areas and get very non specific answers...including on the official obama website. Anyone have real answers?
Because if it is, maybe it should be ramped up a bit?
A picture of Obama and a picture of a ficus. And .... we're done!
That would be nicely satirical.
If it's not satire, bless your heart. That's so silly. You need to increase your medication. The Republicans are already leading us into socialism with the banking crisis. I mean, you don't even need to go all "crazy secret agent Obama" on us. It's been done ... by the Bush administration and their cronies. It's too late for anyone else to jump on that bandwagon, baby!
