There is a difference between targeting and crosshairs. Targeting has an alternate meaning. It refers to goal setting. Targeting is a common reference in that respect. Charities have "targets" set for donations. Find me a reference where they use "lock and load", or "armed and dangerous" or "take up arms" in reference to reaching goals. The fact is, they dont. It seems that someone should be concerned with what another thinks of them regarding political perspective. I can't see how that is remotely valuable or relevant. A person's authentic perspective should not take into account what another feels about them. That would be immature and deterministic. Issues and candidates will rise and fall based upon popularity, but perspective should not be determined by what your crowd, their crowd, or any crowd thinks. If you come to your positions in this way, you are doing yourself a disservice. And again, you repeat this line frequently.

First of all, FOX does not lead all other networks, as you claim. FOX leads the cable news networks. FOX is crushed by the regular networks. That is a typical piece of idiocy that FOX views spout. Second, cable news, on both sides of the ideological spectrum, use quite a bit of flash and entertainment for their ratings race. The fact that lots of people watch one or another says more about where people go for entertainment than it does about the accuracy of their news or analysis.

You are confusing two types of reasoning, which is to be expected because you are a poor thinker. One type would be to poll a select population about information which comes from experience. Let's say you wanted information about how crops grow, or techniques about child rearing. If you poll a select population about humans, they can reference experience, and expertise, and the highest numbers will directly reflect the greatest technique success. On the other hand, the other type of polling, which a "viewer rating" would be more like, is polling about a message delivered about some experience or analysis, rather than direct experience polling. If FOX news tells you, for example, that WMD was found in Iraq, and you were not there to find/experience it, you can only choose to believe or not believe it. You have no test on the analysis like you would in the first case of raising your own child, or growing your own plants or crops. The fact that MANY watch FOX does not validate their information. FOX has given bad information, heavily laced with propaganda, and in conflict with reality for years. They use sensationalism, and young reporters with little experience.

No WMD were ever found in Iraq, Tommy. The people in the U.S. most likely to believe that there actually were some found are FOX viewers. You may believe it now. It is false. It never happened. FOX feeds you crap, and they have for years. That is why FOX viewers are idiots. FOX persuades these poor thinking ideologues to believe things that are demonstrably false. I understand you are trying to relate the Truth according to you, but in reality, it is only you and him that know the Truth. So do I believe the Truth according to you or the Truth according to him? If you think about something for too long, you will become disoriented.
