BANNER BY RICTRESA I live on the border of Eastern Washington and Idaho. I was a proud public school teacher for 25 years. I taught preschool handicapped children, kindergarten, fourth, sixth, junior high and high school. I coached baseball, basketball and golf. I went to college on a baseball scholarship, lived in Mexico for several months, operated a runaway shelter and taught youth sexual offenders for one dark year. I write all the time and have over a dozen other blog sites dedicated to various topics. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to visit. I am honored by the time others give me here. I have a traveling mental health business and work with adult clients dealing with the challenges of schizophrenia. I try to remain happy most days. I live on the border of Idaho/Eastern Washington which is a great place to reside.  However, I have lived on the other side of Washington--the west side of the Cascade Mountains-for half of my adult life.  I collected a bunch of photos of the west side to entertain myself.  I enjoyed it so much myself that I thought you would like to experience it.  Three minutes of mellow time.  Let's take a trip.  Here is the link--give it few seconds to load--Enjoy!

My daughter flies to Seattle all the time on Amazon business I need to ask her if she ever gets to sight see. This was so beautiful I feel I need to see it myself some day.
This must be what you were telling me about. Wonderful! and next time your in Seattle!!
Beautiful.

My older daughter lives in Seattle, and I'm often tempted to ask her to put up a granny flat in the back yard. (She has a wonderful view of Mt. Rainier...well, occasionally.)
Dr. S., thanks so much for that relaxing voyage! It's very easy to see why so many make their homes in Washington state!
Thanks, spud! Love your website. It's very, very cool.
Oh thank you for the trip down memory lane! And what a long great trip it's been.
I, too have lived in Bellingham, Seattle area, the Olympic Peninsula, Spokane area, and now Moscow, Idaho.
We have probably met a prior lifetime ago or two, possibly at work :-) Yes, I did like the trip.
On my way now. Thanks.
Spudster, I was on your website a number of times and went on a few trips. It's deep and diverse. I know you wanted me test drive something ... Was it a Mercedes by any chance? :)
