The Mr. Sly Slip We Know & Love -- PART II

Rate: 2 Flag

There he is,  presently in his blantant

slitherly come hitherly,

'yes my sure tithely-tuned,

 come here,

my snake oil buying voters...'

But Mr. Fly Flop is NO MORE! -- the juggler of fraud,

half-bitten apples of gangreneous  green greed,

crass opportunism -- 'Didn't need that company,really.

Euro-wokers, er, I mean Indonesians,

make it much more cost effectve ...'

Prouounced dead in some circles,

Mr. Fly Flop, like our Freddy Kruger himself,

has cracked through  from the cauldron

of sealed earth itself ......

presently spawning the new,

doubtlessly deftly deceptive

-- we will not say devious --

Mr. Sly Slip himself!

See him shrewdly slip through his 1099 -

' Gave that one a chance, too.' --

drawn, dreamt and diddled off shore,

Excuse me, Mr.Sly Slip, but is there

a chance  you're  a whore?

Names, often hard to truly define,

finding it difficult to shimmy,

and shake, seen as opaque,

but when found out,

truth be told:  You're but a fake.

I do hope he is found out
it seems as if the evidence is mounting
and yet he slithers through
Political poetry is such a necessity
you are so good at writing it
