"Diversity reigns as women jump on board." The numbers appear to be going in the right direction BUT these are mostly non-executive appointements. The # of women in executive positions barely moved.

When I began my career in investments I was the first woman they hired to do "a man's job"
When I went to my first board meeting they announced that
the investment review would be presented by the investment men,
the Chairman looked at the list of presenters and mine was the first name he called
they all laughed when he said "Mary"
he gave the last names of all the real men.

sure!
i have no intention of ever entering the business world,
but do have
an intimate knowledge of how organizations run
with women in charge: mental health places.
There is catfighting, that is not to be denied.
but catfighting is better than backbiting.
i hope women make all the money they are worth,
whatever thing they choose to do..
it's a big ship. women ought to jump on board.
they will navigate.
