Michael Jackson "Officially" Dead/Welcome to Neverland

Rate: 8 Flag

Michael Jackson is dead.

Watching CNN interview really intelligent humans on the street, I am learning soooo much.

"Michael Jackson and John Lennon created all music."

"Michael was talented. "

"He doomed a child to be named "Blanket".

He had a real hard-on for humanity (that was me).

This from TMZ: Now Michael and Farrah are in hell together (What did Farrah do?)

I'm having a real hard time working-up any remorse for a man of 50 that never grew-up. A deluded man that simply didn't see anything wrong with his love of children he took to his bed.

He felt no remorse or guilt or grief.

I'm getting a little ill at the myopic out-pouring being spewed as we speak, on every channel. This is a deeply flawed man that wouldn't/couldn't grow-up. I do not question his talent. I question the cosmos granting such talent to a pedophile.

"A great humanitarian and unspoiled soul." This from CNN.

Seriously?

Play his music, grant him his due. But please get back into reality and tell the truth.

A hard-on for humanity indeed.

Welcome to Neverland.

Blanket? Really? I apologize to any family member that has a reason to grieve.

To those who think he was a great human being... well, no apology.
I don't think he was a great human being, but I doubt he was as horrible as some people think either. At the end of the day I feel bad for what he became.
A talented American tragedy.
well said by both of you... he was a tragedy
He wasn't that great of a human being and did a lot of wrong things in his life time. He was very disturbed in the mind as to the fact that no he never did grow up. The story of his life as a child in the family where he grew up is a very horrible and sad story, which kept him from being able to function in life like normal people do. No that doesn't excuse what he did by any means. He did however have enough money to get the help that he so desperately needed, and didn't.
That doesn't take away the talent that he had in sing and song writing, and he did give lots of money to some charitable organizations. Most sick individuals don't even do that much.
Sick man or not he still play a major rule in the music as it is today, right along with Elvis. Even if we only take a look at the talent today and be sad for the loss of a great talented man. Then tomorrow condemn him for what he did do wrong. But aren't we all of sin of some kind?
Great post by the way..
That was *role*.. oops
Yes we all sin. I think my biggest beef is with the karma idea. He was able to get through life living big and not being forced to deal with reality or being taught right and wrong.

I don't believe in karma and Michael is a classic example of why I don't.

Bill Beck said it well in his rercent post.

I've heard people on CNN equate Michael to the flawed Elvis... please people, prioritize people's flaws: Elvis was a detriment to himself, not children.

I'll add: I have a raging case of apathy. Which Bill puts eloquently as: The Sadness of no sadness.

And thank you very much Fireeyes.
He named one of his kids Blanket? I agree about the outporing of love here. He was a hugely talented man who liked to fuck boys (or whatever he did). His money kept him out of jail. Do I wish him dead? No. Do I, like you, wish that he had some remorse for his boy fucking? Yes. RIP, sure, but an apology would have been nice.
Agreed Roger. He was a very lucky person who had no idea he was lucky.

Yes, he had a bad childhood. But we don't let criminals off because they had a bad childhood, unless they have money.

I will also condemn the white men that ruined our economy. I have no feeling for Kenny Boy Lay (I still remember Kenny's wife saying she'd have to sell most of their houses, fuck you. It's not your money). So, a little justice on rich people would please me greatly

I don't hate Michael, just wish he had been taught about reality. That's on his dad...another delusional.
In his prime, i would put him with Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods, talent wise. I do not know what happened to him, do not care. Even though he was never "convicted' doesn't mean shit. Jordan, a gambling problem which "could have taken him down, (nothing like Jackson), got his shit together. Woods, the man is "Poetry in Motion". Married to a fox, two beautiful kids, a billionaire, I do not know his demons, but everybody has some.'ll remember Jackson his for his talent, I hope!! Great Post
Thanks Scanner. He is an argument within himself.
Many people have researched the entire MJ saga and believe in the court's verdict. He was not guilty of the allegations and charges. He may have had bad judgment but it is not for you to say that he was a pedophile. It may be your opinion, but you don't know it as fact.

Um, actually Blanket is a cute nickname. It was Prince Michael II--named after his late grandfather.

You need to stop judging and start reading.
Like most humans I judge all the time... I'm just more open. I judge all the time.

I also read a lot... I happen to disagree with the court and think he bought-off a lot of people. It should be no surprise, since I also believe money has bought-off and/or corrupted many of our politicians, leaders, business people.

It is my hypothesis MJ was deluded and did not feel he did anything wrong... this is not to be confused with innocence.

Just my opinion...
