I write because there are too damn many trees. I print everything out several times, thus reducing the tree glut. I also have 18 children (I'm still trying for more as long as I don't have to support them), my carbon footprint is about the size of Al Gore's massive paw print... he got a Nobel Prize. I assume I'll get one too and carbon offsets for my gluttony and the billions Al Gore will get for his hypocrisy. The only thing I really care about is my lack of control for run-on sentences, running-on. But if they can cure spontaneous spewing of body fluids, I'm confident they can cure run-on sentences, running on.

2009 Battle of the Bartenders Fundraiser for Troops/Kids

Rate: 1 Flag

The 2009 Sonoma Battle of the Bartenders is in the books. Debauchery in the name of charity, what could be better?

We had over 700 revelers helping us raise money for The Native Sons of the Golden West and The American Legion. Much needed money for our troops and children's charities.

In these tough economic times we were able to almost match our record year. Thank you to all the participants, donors, volunteers and revelers.

The Whiskey Thieves topped off the evening by rocking Sonoma to the core. Codi Binkley was pitch-perfect as master of ceremonies! Sorry I forgot the Jameson. I hope the Patron and Jim Beam Black helped you fight off the evils of sobriety. We love you guys!

Gloria Ferrer generously provided added fun with their: Glorious Gloria Ferrer Sparkling Cocktail Contest. Thank you Gloria Ferrer!

Carolyn Mulas doggedly worked to provide liquor sponsorship by Pernod Ricard (which was consumed in mass quantities and appreciated).

The competing bars and restaurants provided great libations and tasty food. The food was needed to combat the effects of the booze... Thank you!

We the little people of the world were able to contribute in a small way to bettering the lives of others AND have fun doing it!

There are just too many people to thank. But let me just say we would not be able to do this without the generous contributions and donations from our friends.

Roxanne you rock! A little name dropping to make us all look better: Thank you: Benziger Family Winery, Tommy Smothers, John and Nancy Lasseter, Steve Stricker, St. Francis Winery, Mulas Family Winery,The Native Sons of the Golden West, The American Legion... So many people contributed, it's all a blur.

We can now look back on all our hardwork and know we have done a little something to make the world a little better than it was the day before.

Thank you all!

I know this isn't technically OS related, but it is one of the reasons I haven't had time to write. Also, posting it on OS gets linked to other sites, which reach more people I need to thank.

I know the article is not much fun... but hey, it's charity work.
2nd try. The other comment is somewhere? deleted? NSA?
I want pumpkin pie with cool whip. Who can cut off a:`crust?
Have a Yard sale and sell WW2 sundry packs of peanut butter?
Please cut off all bread crust of peanut butter on a blueberry jam!

Read Richard Lardner's AP October 11th article`ref:`gun jamming?
The M- 4 rifle jams like the old M - 16 did in `Nam. The DOD knew!
Yes.
The article tells (historian?) how nine soldiers died in one firefight. The article tells of the bloody battle. Staff Sgt. Erich M- 4 rifle jams.
The eastern Afghanistan post is where the U.S. troops got overrun.

A machine gun he grabbed to replace the one that jams was broken.
Carbines have bad ammo. Bad DOD leadership. Troops are fodders.
Well. Walk about with Ya hands in the air and tell bullets to swerve.

Say:`Hey, Ya killing bullets,
swerve around my numbskull!
My head don't want no headache!
Thanks Arthur... I will decode your message if possible.
Sounds like a fun time. Did the weather hold up? Was Tommy Smothers there? He must be 80?
Tommy is 73...it rained bad... Tommy is on tour.

We (our event) suffered for the rain.

All the winery's were working 14 hour days to get as many grapes off the vine before the rain... water and heat do not mix well with grapes. They create fungus.

I gotta tell ya'... Roger Fallihee... you are getting better and better with age.

You are writing from the heart.
