I'd like to write something new and fun. But I'm drawing a blank. How do you draw a blank? Is it the simplistic beauty of the blank page?

The Art Of War In America On American's By American's

When one picks a side, they have chosen to defend that party's platform for better or worse.

For if their party is exposed as lying d-bags, they become d-bags by association.

Now, it's my assertion that both political parties are chock full of self-centered, self-important, lying, greed mongers.

However, for the purposes of this article let's take the issue of Taxes. Specifically taxing the rich.

If I were politician (laugh), I'd redefine "rich" from it's current $250K per year cutoff to expose the people I'm really going after: The ultra wealthy, hoarding and hiding their billions to avoid paying taxes.

The wealthiest 400 Americans hold more wealth than 150 million Americans.

So, it's those very powerful 400 I'd attempt to expose for their tax dodges and hoarding practices. Even Ayn Rand assumed a certain level of capitalist ethics.

However, as current evidence has overwhelmingly shown, the market will not regulate itself.

The polemic nature of "party politics" plays right into the hands of the 400, since maintaining the status quo benefits them.

Further, the 400 control the media.

The vast majority of what we see, read and hear is currently controlled by 5-6 people (all members of the 400). They have, at their disposal, the most powerful propaganda machine in the history of civilization.

The importance of this media behemoth cannot be over stated. Since it allows them to keep the vast majority arguing among ourselves.

The alternative would be an informed populous that might just turn on them. 307 million versus 400 would be too much, even for them.

The problems associated with this scenario are myriad (here are a few):

The 400 hundred have endless resources.

They control the media.

They bought and paid for America's government.

They control The Supreme Court.

They will not go quietly into the night.

Even before Eisenhower warned us of the dangers of an out of control military industrial complex, Thomas Jefferson proclaimed: Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.

So, given the overwhelming current evidence I have concluded that bickering amongst ourselves only serves The 400.

Among these elite 400 are those guilty of collapsing the world's economy and the greatest heist of all time (they not only got away with it, they got paid billions to do it).

I hear their laughter of contempt for us, "the unwashed masses", in my nightmares.

We, the people, are divided.

We've been conquered.

They know it and we don't.

I'm sure they find that funny.

There will come a time to put away childish toys, get out a flashlight and shine it into the ignorant darkness the 400 so desperately desire to keep us in.

i keep inviting osers to participate in a plan to get citizen initiative, and with it, democracy.

but it turns out people raised as slaves can not imagine the benefits of democracy.

the control of education and media create that submission, but if people will not stand up, you can not force them to be free.

things are the same, or worse, in other nations, so i conclude that humanity will ultimately wear implanted chips, and serve beside robots, until they are unwanted.
Always, the voice of hope Al.

Of course, one could flip this over and look at the impending revolt as a good thing.
I'm afraid it will take something more deadly and powerful than a flashlight. The future looks murky and deadly and full of misery and horror.
Hm, appears as though I need to write more dead on. Flashlight floodlight... a second Sun?

Thanks for stopping by.
Perhaps one should perceive the situation from an anthropological viewpoint. It seems the corporations are an alien life form taking over and controlling the minds under their domain. They might be seen an an anti-human invasion and should be fought as any extra-terrestrial menace would be withall the powers of decent humanity.
The rich are merely their subservient minions with no concern for humanity in general.
It would be hard for me to disagree, given the current state of disarray.
Since Sun Tzu was just a courtesan and probably a eunuch to boot he gets it wrong right from the start war is no art it is an act of brutal butchery and its best practitioners revel in it. Read the Book of 5 Rings, that was written by a great warrior. You are 100% right Gary the worst enemy the American people have is their own media in fact I recommend a rigid program of assassination starting right there!
I don't think they'll be laughing too much longer, people are disgruntled with the new world order, people are no longer meek and "well behaved". I have a feeling they're in for an unpleasant little surprise.
There is an interesting analysis at http://www.counterpunch.org/whitney04212011.html

Federal efforts through Obama and his associates seem to be mostly concerned with maintaining the surge in financial securities. Because of government support the Dow is going gangbusters while the rest of the country's economy is rapidly crumbling with falling jobs and wages and housing foreclosures. Obama is obviously a creature of the financial sector but the financial sector, if it no longer represents the real economic foundation of the economy, is based on fairy gold the will evaporate in the heat of people out of work and homeless and the loss of a solid industrial base in the country. The economy cannot sustain on everybody frying hamburgers for each other and the ultimate fall will be the obvious disaster pushed by the vacuum heads in Congress and in many of the state governments and, unfortunately, in the president's incapability to face reality and push solidly to rescue his failing country.

It clearly indicates how the current government under Obama and his associates are pumping up the financial sector to keep the Dow going gangbusters while the actual economy concerning jobs and home foreclosures and the industrial base where real values reside fade away to the misery of the population.
The country cannot subsist on the population frying hamburgers for each other while the vacuum heads in Congress and in many of the state governments trash the lives of their constituents.
Obama and his advisers have clearly revealed themselves as creatures of the financial and corporate sector that are subsisting on and glorying in the fairy gold of empty speculation which will fade to nothing if Obama doesn't face the real problems of the country and start solidifying its real economic base.
Sorry about the almost double post. There was a computer glitch and I had to rewrite it.
