Thanks, & for "cachinnate." Who knew ?
leave 'em laughing and they won't notice the pickpocket
I'm w/KG, never saw that word before
You infected me. I dropped this on The Cranberries FB page:
snowy rose wilted
cranberry tatters beckon
dark night leaves learning
*cachinnate* appears in one out of three dictionaries, usually right before *cuculus canorus* (vodka, lime) haiku [sic] usually harnesses
the humility of the poet before what one might construe as the cruelty of chaos while allowing the resonance of so-called 'natural order'. As an example:

snowflake, glacier

sundog squints afore blue sky

frozen sea, blindness

I appreciate the the discourse and recognition, KG, DEW. Hartscape is usually open until the (squeezes lime on ice cube) cows come home. (swishes lime-laced ice water, swirls glass)

(re-splashes vodka in bigger glass, diligently quarters lime with ginzo paring knife, looks at totem-pole like insignia on American Spirit cigarette stub just between filter and orange/grey tip, regrets having lost last comment due to 6% remaining battery life on Toshiba, scurries (wd. overused if you know what I mean) for power cord, notes that he spends more on electronic connectivity than his IRA, slows typing to shift through multivariate popsongs, resumes typing, wondering if he should tell reader that MSFT just imposed updates (something was lost, something was gained) cogni

Please allow:
wilted bright snow rose
cranberry tatters beckon (what? tatters or tae'ters as affectionate slang for potatoes? How about: cranberry waters beckon? Okay?)

wilted bright snow rose

cranberry waters beckon

leaves burning, dark night

You've got the beat, anyway. Just sayin':)
