tips on how to reach enlightenment w/o a method or guru

Rate: 16 Flag

live in the presence of the just-past:

listen to echoes of the last

thing you experienced.

Absorb it by taking a moment of no-mind

with faith that from emptiness

erupts the fresh new next moment of your genius

..........................................................

Genius is the self-evolution of cliche

by the next-moment .

Cliche isolates ego in ego:

endless positive feedback loop.

............................................................

Tip for maintaining sanity:

don't worry about looking insipid

in a world built on cliche.

...........................................................

Plan: throw cliches at them til

the opportunity comes to say

"that is a cliche".

........................................................

How do  you talk with ease

to anyone?

Know that cliches

are guaranteed to be

hated (argued with)

or loved (and nodded at).

......................................................

but all this boils down to is:

i gotta hurry

to get to nextnow ahead of you

because i need to impress you

to make you love my ego.

.......................................................

ego is where i never feel what i just said did or heard

because i must hurry

to the next moment

ahead of myself,

and you.

.......................................................

in ego myself and you are confluent.

indistinguishable.

i gulp you down without tasting you.

....................................................

chew your food thoroughly.

Wow. You are a pitch perfect guru on not being one. But as the anti-guru, you make me want to follow your advice.
I like to eat slowly. I like to taste every bite.

And I agree with Susie that your insight is genius.
“Cliche isolates ego in ego”. Interesting! Thank you.
"from emptiness erupts the fresh new next moment of your genius..."

What if there is no genius, only desire?
Or spit it out. You know what they say, easy come, easy go.
All day today, everyone seemed to be talking so fast, moving so fast, creating a blur with no essence. You have captured the essence of slowing down here.
I thought we couldn't reach enlightenment. Instead, we are to stay still and enlightenment opens us up.
because the past is ever present
and the future's never just

Or embrace me fast

OOPS! Not sure what happened there.
Feel free to delete.
Three times.
Haven't got time to comment, I must hurry off to feed my ego~~
This is so great. The messages are very worthwhile and the form prefect.
don't worry about looking insipid/in a world built on cliche~

The spellchecker tried to correct 'cliche' into 'chicle'...six of one, half dozen of the other. Either way, me gusta mucho.
this piece provokes mirth

a smidgen short of a belly-laugh

thank you Emmerling.
