 is

Easter Sunday tomorrow. So the library will not be open.

Where will the homeless folks go? I suppose it doesn’t matter, because the weather is grand here in Connecticut. Blue skies. Plentiful sunshine.

There are women sunbathing outside my window, as a matter of fact. Two of them. “Sober girls”, as I call them. Young ladies who have made mistakes here & there, and need some supervision for a while. Good girls. Sinners, I suppose. Maybe some of them will get some religion from these social worker/charity-churchly types.  27 churches we got here in this town. They conglomerated into an entity callled MAAC.  MACC…?...Manchester Area of..uh..Associated/council of?....Churches. Mac. It’s good old Mac. That is why our suburban haven is full of indigents , we are a charitable town. Also, we are called “Klanchester” by African Americans because our Superior Court judges are harsh indeed. I know that for a fact. Damn fool Judge put a $100,000 bond on me for DUI.  Don’t worry: I slipped through on a  technicality. Only had to do 4 months in the Big House.

Some of these gals have been in jail, I know. They still got men sniffing after them, ruining their lives with unwanted pregnancies & drug habits & what not…all these guys got, like, 4 or 5 kids, from different moms. I learned this in prison. The fellows called them their “bitches”, but don’t get all upset, it is just a word, like “nigga”, which you hear a hundred times a day . In jail.

Well, Easter tomorrow.

I suppose most of us are trapped by some pseudo religion, hoping for salvation in a material sense. Utopianism. Idolatry.

Moloch worship.ay.

That makes for Totalitarianism, this wish for goodies in the future, watch out!

It will be even hotter and lots of sun, I hear tell. Ha.

Come on, you gotta give folks a break... after all when Constantine and the bishops consolidated all those sects, they had to figure out some way to relabel those popular pagan holidays... not to mention the profits from marshmallow chicks and chocolate bunnies.
you bet, RPoetess,lucky gal.
Sorry about the Kali stuff..she got me good last night, \maybe..in my my dreams..is she capa ble of that?...my dad beat the hell out of me!
my mom shaved my head......ay.

alright, JMAC , i admit the ruthless cunning of it.
i kinda admire it. i am cunningly ruthless at times.
i am ruthlessly cunning too. i work for Angels who have
no f-ing rules. spreading mercy & good etc.
Enjoy the Spring sun, delight in the little flowers pushing above the Earth, engage the Sober Girls in some stimulating conversation, consult The Oracle, write some poetry, clear your mind and leave us the findings.

Both the "B" word and the "N" are not good in my books. Though the first I might save up for a rare occasion, the other ...? Never.
You care about them because you are gallant; the system does not because it is corrupt. It is hard to be a savior where people are ignorant, mean and superficial. R
Oh maybe some family will do their good Easter deed riding by in their BMW after church, mamma in her Talbots suit and the children buckled the back seat with stained fingers from candy coated chocolate eggs wearing pretty little Easter bonnets that will be tossed aside as soon as the day is over.

Darling look at that homeless man...maybe give him a dollar, oh I bet he will just spend it on a-l-c-o-h-o-l...let's just give him 50 cents and the left over ham and cold string beans with the pearl onions from Aunt Betty's house.

We are good people.
It's interesting how Easter can be such a major, important holiday to some, and just a day the library's closed, to others. Your pointing out that bit about the library blew my mind a bit - what an injustice, to close a sort of church in its own right. Here, the boyfriend and I won't be celebrating Easter in any particular way. I will try to think of the holiday's true meaning, though, because I think it's pretty inspiring, no matter what faith one comes from. Here's hoping you've stocked up on reading material today.
Yup! That was Kali's work, a formal apology must now be presented. You are lucky she only went after you in the dream world. Of course, if there is no apology she may just try to get you in the "Real?" world.
I'll be annoying the neighbors with mower and tiller engines tomorrow. Seems fair since they annoy me with their music and parties that I'm not invited to. I'm nervous but looking forward to that next step in being a gardener. Running the tiller...

Happy Easter to you. I hope you get some real enjoyment from something, since they closed up the darn library on you.
How come you're not out there talking these good girls up, Jim? Help them stay on the righteous path!
James, I sense that you are watchful over/for, these girls. Sad undertone I'm picking up, your allusion to these young girls being preyed upon. I just hope that someone looks out for them -- not that women need protection. Some, in search of love, the affable attention of available guys, might be led astray ... your heart is good, my man. I know that you bring strong vision for ...' the nature that will test every nerve ...' Keep this peace alive, my brother. You're a good influence.
Why aren't you in church, you sinner? Or at least eating honey-glazed ham.
