welcome. yes, the preview post is terribly kludgy - I suggest you make good friends with HTML, compose off-line and use the html box as much as possible

also, from my understanding, the CID is generated as soon as you publish a draft and I don't think that changes with updates, even a changed title, but I'm not sure as I've never tried to change the title
