i am on a happy things kick. life is hard, and we gotta start taking our mirth and our good where we can find it. today i found it in many places i dont always look. gonna try to remember to keep doing that. was a terrible awful no good very bad day, to steal from teddy and alexander. and i took slap after slap (no, not literally), and kept saying, "ok, so this is what we are dealing with right now, and we are not going to panic or heart attack. we are gonna deal with it, and then look beyond, to what feels good. laughter feels good. hope feels good. acceptance, even, in a way, feels good.

and so it goes.

teddy, we need someone with a camera phone to make a vid of cocoa doing dancy dancy dee - that sounds adorable! all my cat does is give me dirty looks and occasionally jump over the other cat's back, when he is feeling especially threatening.

i just realized, and this is rather sad, that sparta is our cat, and poor dixie is just "the other cat." awww.
