Oh, by all means, I'd be quite prepared for that eventuality.

My Favorite Patrick Swayze Dance Scene

Rate: 8 Flag
OK, forget that the dialogue is in French.  I couldn't find the video anywhere else.  Just concentrate on the music and the dancing.  When Patrick Swayze makes his entrance at about 1:40, you can't look at anything else.

I remember seeing "Dirty Dancing" in the theater when it first came out.  My husband worked on one of the songs on the soundtrack, and it was a very exciting experience.  This scene just knocked me out, and left me dizzy and swaying, just like Baby.

Wish someone would dance that way with me!

love this one and the one on the tree limb over the stream...
Sexier than sex. He was HOT!
Nora, that's a great scene too. It's one of those movies that I'll watch over and over again.

Thanks, Robin.

Ablonde, isn't that the truth? I've always thought that a good dance scene is worth 100 sex scenes.
He's dancing in heaven now . . .

Hot is hot.
thank you for sharing this. his dancing was spectacular. my husband died of this cancer so this is a rough day for me. really rough. thank you for this lovely lovely memory and delight. love love love!!
He definitely had that movie star quality. It goes beyond mere sex appeal. In French it's called a "je ne se quoi."
Though I approached this topic in an irreverent fashion on my blog, Swayze truly was a larger than life figure in some ways, especially to those of us who grew up watching movies like "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" and, one of my favs for some reason, "Roadhouse." I have nothing but respect for him as an actor, and for the dignity with which he faced his struggle with cancer. Rated.
oooh lala; it's better in french...."Il est le meilleur...."
