It was almost two years ago that I wrote my farewell blog to Bill Moyers, who retired from his weekly television series, Bill Moyers Journal, on April 30, 2010. Since then, Friday nights at our house have often involved the following conversation:
Jim: What do you want to watch?
Me: Hmmm. I don't know. Zzzzzzzzzzz.
Oh, I had a quickie rebound relationship with Need to Know for a short time, and Netflix has filled the void a little bit, plus we've been re-watching Deadwood (another series that disappeared and left us wandering aimlessly), and there's always Rachel Maddow on MSNBC but, truly, things just haven't been the same.
That's all about to change!
With Moyers & Company, we will again have a chance to see real journalism and substantive conversation about current events.
Check the Moyers website or your local listings to see when Moyers & Company will be broadcast in your area.

First I've heard about it.
Two of my biggest celebrity crushes: Bill Moyers and Sir David Attenborough, who recently retired :-(
Laura, I know he was interviewed on Colbert this week. I'm sure the new show will be fantastic!
zanelle, glad to you let you know about it!
greenheron, hope you can watch. Who knows, maybe Attenborough will be as bad at retirement as Moyers.
Tom, if only Molly was still with us. But, yes, Texas does occasionally come through. (Buddy Holly!)

Fusun, glad to share such good news with you!
Larry, do you want to be my agent? :-)
Sarah, Cedar and Kathy, it is exciting, isn't it? Can't wait until tomorrow night!
