The Naked Reader Book Club: That is So NOT Sexy!

Mostly, when I write humor for publication, I find that by the time I am reallyreallyREALLY done with a piece, it no longer makes me laugh and I may even be unsure if it's funny, even if I was ROTFLMAO all the way through the first draft. So I make a few friends read whatever it is. If they laugh, I alert my editor that we're good to go.

But this one stayed funny the whole time ... at least to me. And it's the kind of piece I think (some)  OS readers will like; it's the kind of thing I would post here, if I had the time to write for free.
