Why Are Atheists So Ignorant?
GOD ONLY KNOWS.
God made them that way.
They evolved from primitive life forms, what do you expect?
They are not really human, they are aliens in human form.

How do you torture an atheist?
You rip his heart out and say, GOD DID IT.
How do you kill an atheist?
You Don't. You let GOD DO IT.
What is the difference between an atheist and Richard Dawkins?
Dawkins constructs the delusions, and the atheist lives in them.
To atheists, God does not exist.
To God, atheists do not exist.
To Richard Dawkins, atheists exist to buy his book.
Atheists deny they have a soul.
Does absence of the soul mean that atheists are animals?
Nonsense, that would be an insult to the animals.
Why did God create atheists?
So the rest of us could thank God for not creating us like them.
Why are atheists not really atheists?
They have simply replaced the belief in God with some form of primitive religion such as paganism, idolatry, worship of money, nature, rocks, hedonism, politics, drugs or Monday night football...etc.

Honestly, what do you get out of this kind of bigotry?
And if so, then perhaps it is you who is on the wrong side of history.
That's all I'm getting from this display.
Am I the only one here who REALLY doesn't get this post? I juggled the notion of satirical humour for a while, then I wobbled with the idea of just lame humour......nothing made sense.
But then I thought maybe some weird Christian propaganda thing going around I hadn't heard of. But then I nix that idea because no Christian, following the biblical teachings of Jesus, would even think of taking time out of their day to blog such nonsense.
So I'm stumped. A little help?

Now, fundamentalist Christians being called ignorant - that's common. Me thinks you protest too much.

As he was walking alongside the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. He turned to look. He saw a 7-foot grizzly bear charging towards him.
He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder and saw that the bear was closing in on him.
He looked over his shoulder again, and the bear was even closer. He tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up but saw that the bear was right on top of him, reaching for him with his left paw and raising his right paw to strike him.
At that instant the Atheist cried out, "Oh my God!"
Time Stopped.
The bear froze.
The forest was silent.
As a bright light shone upon the man, a voice came out of the sky. "You deny my existence for all these years, teach others I don't exist, and even credit creation to cosmic accident. Do you expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to count you as a believer?"
The atheist looked directly into the light and said, "It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a Christian now, but perhaps you could make the BEAR a Christian?"
"Very Well," said the voice.
The light went out. The sounds of the forest resumed. And the bear dropped his right paw, brought both paws together, bowed his head & spoke:
"Lord bless this food, which I am about to receive from thy bounty through Christ our Lord, Amen."
I need to remember to go to sleep early tonight.

Please save me from the "MDs" who refuse to acknowledge critical thinking. Please rescue me from the Christians who can neither love nor respect their fellow man should their fellow man not believe the same things as they. Please save me from your followers who think hate is somehow a virtue when hidden behind the mask of righteousness.

Faith is an irrational response to the fear of death and a social mechanism to impose rules on individuals for the sake of the society at large. However, reason and logic are much more effective alternatives to faith in religion. Maybe you should look farther back in human history, you will find the emergence of deity worship originating in Egypt and Ancient Sumer shortly after the establishment of a centralized despotic state. Gods were invented to control people, then the afterlife was invented to pacify people. Man made religion and man invented god.
You are just an irrational coward.
Yeah the Doc's post, including the title, was (in my opinion) uncalled for but I think it is jsut as hypocritical of the atheists to now be howling.
It would be nice to bring down the rhetorical noise from both sides and try to keep the discussion from degenerating into a shouting match.
Unfortunately, both sides seem equally irretriviably intolerant to one another
