Jennie S. Bev is an author and columnist based in Northern California. She contributes regularly to The Jakarta Globe and has published in The Jakarta Post, Asia Sentinel, Korea Times, Media Bistro, Women's International Perspectives, and many others. In 2004-2008, she taught college paper and essay writing at WGU. She was named 2003 EPPIE Award nominee for excellence in electronic publishing and 2009 Peace Writer at Joan B.
