Another gorgeous poem from you. You never fail to humble me with your talent (my poems suck next to yours).

Really beautiful.
Your words inspire me; your talent humbles me. rAted!
Gorgeous - words and art! LOved and rated.
Charity - Thank you for your kind compliments. I beg to differ - your poems inspire and I enjoy them sincerely :)

Mr. Mustard - Thank you for stopping by, high praise from one whose words and plays I admire as well.

Annette2009 - Tahnk you very much! :)

Sublimely put together. As a philosopher in his own mind phrases like “what we use to pierce the void, blaze the trail and touch forever” reverberates with me, but as you rightly point out there are so many permutations of light: become enlightened, be the light and just be light.
Rated for light, the ultimate medium of art and life.
So much meaning in so few words. You do something that only a handful can do, and you dipped your pen in light today, that's for sure!
Jim..

well well..so now you're the next William Blake
i see...he said his painting/poems
(engraved on metal, lovingly colored
by his wife, Catherine)

were written into Eternity itself...
you have chosen the medium
of the 21st century...ELECTROMAGNETISM....
TO PROVIDE US WITH YOUR various
visions and random visionary thoughts
and cool ramblings...

I would love to see you expand on this medium...

in other words, i f...g love it, bro...

"without Unceasing Practice
nothing can be done...PRACTICE IS ART....
iF YOU LEAVE OFF, YOU ARE LOST..."

guess who...

your spiritual predecessor...mr. b
Newton! Thank you for your comments and compliment. Light in those permutations to Nabina, that was the sending tag.

Nanatehay! Thank you for stopping by - I agree.

Zumalicious! Thank you much :)

James! Thank you for stopping by. Your comments inspire as much as they enlighten :)

We could almost all use a little more of it in our lives...
Logging in very briefly just to rate this and tell you that I love that first image of us dipping our pens into the light to write.... our ink. Loving that idea/image/concept.

Good evening to you, dearie.
Wordsmith! Agreed and thanks for stopping by :)

Waking!! Thank you very much for stopping by. I am glad it changed your mind about logging in. That's the line that started it. It grew, it contracted yet I could not 'hear' the words really. It wasn't until I started messing around with the 'Pieces of my heart' on the top corner that I wrote the word light with the brush and it flowed in from there.

peece love and light!

Sweetness and light you are, David, to so many of us. Salt of the earth, you scatter your seeds of bright kindness across the fields, even the oceans, as your love balms lands from South Africa to Argentina, from Oregon to India.

Thank you for sharing your light, David,

( m&m )
You just did it again. You.
M&M! Happy to see you guys! Your comments lighten my burden always. Thank you for your generous words.

Brings to mind a beautiful inscription one might see embossed in leather on the cover of a Victorian diary.
Monsieur Chariot - Thank you for coming by and for the comment :) That would be really cool to see.

Love these images. I can picture starlight oozing from the nib of my pen. Thank you for this.
Thank you Coyote :) I like the picture you paint in my mind.

peece,
dj
Did you do the artwork as well? Very nice my friend.
Harp! Thank you very much - yeah I was in a wierd mood with a tablet in hand some time ago. The words were an extension of the 'heart' with the dark of the void as the blackdrop at soe point.

SeattleK8! I like that, mmmmmmhm :)

DJ - I have a silver sparkley pen that looks invisible until you write on black paper - Just had to share!

Your poems are always de/LIGHT/FULL...

Peace,
Angie
The lovely (I see you still as the paragon of Eros and beautiful in my minds eye, hehe) Angelique! - thank you for dropping by and the commnet~ !

:)

I love that image - all poems are written in invisible ink until we put them up against the void - then they illuminate.

love, life, light, and peece,
dj
I'm very very mad at you. It's sad to me that I haven't known about you before. What happened?

EXCELLENT work.
Duaneart! Thanks for dropping in and enjoying :) - I appreciate the comments from you and fellow OS'ers since it inspires me to keep posting. There's something to be said about being 'born' into a creatively positive environment like that of OS.

Light in mind and in tether intriques me...tether=something used
to confine (e.g. our ultimate speed)
and also tether=the range, scope or limit of your powers...

very well chosen word..
James! thanks for stopping by and the comments. The connections you made with it are fitting and excellent.

I am ready for more from you my friend. More! More! More!
I envy those who are capable of writing poetry when not severely pissed off or dangling off a ledge.

Well done :)
Harp! Thank you for dropping in on me, man :) That's the same thing I say after reading some of your stuff - more more more!

peece!
dj
Wok! Thank you for stopping by. I can understand what you say, man. I've hung off that ledge before. I fav'ed you after reading your last poem. I've been thinking about how I should - hell, how I CAN - respond. I love the miror you hold up, Wok.

peece,
dj
what if...
you are dangling off a ledge,
but...

you're not pissed off?

you're happy god put you there?
I don't think any(One) put me there,
but that I am there,
because,

again,

We will find ourselves,
at some point,
but,
we are what we speak,today.

peece.
That is a beautiful poem and I agree with it totally. Thank you for sharing it.

Also, thank you for your words on my blog. I appreciate it. All in all, I know that my children have more peace now. Living in all of that turmoil and strife was like pure poison for them. I'm working on it still of course. It will take a long time for me to finish processing through all of my anger. One layer at at time. And I guess then I'll see what's underneath.
chemistrycourtney! Thank you for stopping by - I appreciate the comments. I am happy to hear your children have more peace. When faced with a similar situation in my life, I chose the same path. As you dig through your layers, be ready to find your 'new' self and welcome her 'home'.
