I can see why people get annoyed with some studies. They will be like, "Researchers have discovered that people who get plenty of sleep are generally happier and than people who don't get enough."
I should start my own study, "Pissing away taxpayer money to learn things a 10 year old knows."
They could make a movie of it - "Ernst Goes to College." Or "Ernst Gets a Research Grant." Know what I mean?
Here are some possible hypothesis to prove:
People with both legs are better at the 100 yard dash than people with only one.
People who consume enormous amounts of alcohol are worse at a driving obstacle course than those who haven't had any alcohol.
Sighted people are better at slalom skiing than the blind.
30 Year old men are better at boxing then 5 year old girls.
Men with bacon smeared on their genitals find being caged with pitbulls unpleasant.
15 year old girls who start every sentence with "Oh my God," perform worse on math exams than MIT professors.
Men who attend NASCAR events perform better at automotive repair than performance artists and mimes in the Castro District of San Francisco.
Professional wrestlers are more likely to win arm wrestling matches than battered husbands.
