Occupy Wall Street. Day One.

They criticized the Oakland Anarchists saying the Occupy Movement is Nonviolent. Destruction of property is not violent. Unless you worship gooda. Unless a corporation is a person.
Your goods are not your god. Spray painting a wall isn't violent. Carpet bombing Iraq is. Bayer selling aids tainted blood to unsuspecting Europeans is. Poisoning the water with fracking is. Denying people life saving operations by HMO death panels is. Cheating people out of insurance after Katrina isn't violent, it is just how business is done these days. The state of affairs. The status quo.
A state where people in Mercedes can run into protesters out of impatience then drive off with a warning from the cops, while nonviolent protesters are beaten and maced, shot with rubber bullets, hit with exploding cannisters. Non violence indeed.
Breaking a Citibank window isn't violent. Anymore than kicking people out of their homes and giving yourself a bonus. Or bankrupting Europe, getting taxpayers to support your gambling habit, using the money to lobby for more Wall Street Welfare, appointing your friends to high office, so that the criminals aren't people robbing banks, but banks robbing people. Nonviolently, 0f course.
American business is not violent. They simply design the punchcards for concentration camps. Or sell the gas to mideast dictators, they don't actuallly use it on people themselves. Their hands would get dirty. Like their money. Like their value system. Like their politicians. Like their laws.
Violence is raping the truth then packaging it as plausible denial. Violence is what billionaires and politicians call deplorable, unless they can make money off it, or political points.
