My acquaintance, Lois Bromfield, is an American stand-up commedian, now living in Berlin. She's also the film director and star of the short classic, "Sorority Girls From Hell" (see link, below--you may just die laughing.)
Her newest creation, a web-based series about to take flight, is the ground-breaking, IRMA v. BERLIN, based on a raucously successful late '80s video character.

IRMA vs BERLIN is a smart, rollicking web-comedy that takes outcast Irma Munson on a poignant personal journey, her relentless quest for personal acceptance that illuminates a universal struggle. Her eventual triumph belongs to all of us. At a time when our teens are bullied at alarming rates, Irma stands fast, strong, and true, true to herself and her ideals, our ideals...and she does this all the while making us laugh with deep satisfaction.
IRMA was born back in 1987 and over a quarter century has garnered a massive following.
