David Simon is smarter than I am, so I have no real confidence I can predict the wrap. But I do find others' arguments intriguing: it's possible that Carcetti, Rawls and Daniels find some way to cover up what McNulty's done while making McNulty pay -- or maybe he makes himself pay. I think it's clear Levy knows Herc turned Snoop's number over to the cops; the question is why -- just to run up their legal bills? That seems short-sighted -- and what happens to Herc. The things I'm dying to know: What happens to Michael? What happens to Gus? And is Templeton run out of journalism or is he now running a newsroom?
