I'm excited to be returning to Denver this week to join fellow filmmakers Mike Dion and Hunter Weeks as we screen our new documentary feature "Ride The Divide" at the Starz Film Center and the Boulder Theater.
"Ride The Divide" is an inspiring journey about the world’s toughest mountain bike race, which traverses over 2700 miles along the Continental Divide in the Rocky Mountains. The film weaves the story of three characters’ experiences with immense mountain beauty and small-town culture as they attempt to pedal from Banff, Canada to a small, dusty crossing on the Mexican border.
Denver area screenings start this Thursday, May 20th and run through Saturday, May 22nd. Shows start at 7pm at the Tivoli theater, and each screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. Tickets are on sale now at the Denver Film Society website (http://www.denverfilm.org/filmcenter/detail.aspx?id=23191) and at the Tivoli box office.
Boulder's screening is a one-night only event this Saturday at the Boulder Theater. The show starts at 7pm and will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers AND a very special live performance by a surprise musical guest. Tickets are on sale now at the Boulder Theater website (http://www.bouldertheater.com/event_detail.php?id=1285) and box office.
Please send me a PM if you are coming to one of the screenings so that we can meet before or after the show!
