Since our last president.

Most idiot's know the war on drugs is a dismal failure, even people of moderate intelligence know this.  For 30 years, this "war" has wasted billions of dollars, killed untold innocent people, eroded our constitutional rights, torn family's apart, subject thousands of innocent people to "SWAT raids (they don't always  get the "right house"), turned the "land of the free" into the prison nation, turned our "justice system" into a dysfunctional cartel. took away our "right to due process, and a fair trial, turned people with drug problems into a separate class of citizens (at least you don't get thrown in jail for being gay)(yet). The government has tried everything short of shooting on sight, any suspected drug user.

So, our "brilliant" president, along with his "brilliant" secretary of homland security, Janet Napolitano, have devised a "brilliant" stratagy for the Mexican boarder, send in the army, Iraq all over again, only now we can go watch, like a sporting event. And, they're gonna reduce the demand here in the US, so that should fix things. Haven't we seen this movie before?

And the best part is, our government is giving a huge tax break to these "cartels"(tax free, is more like it) while at the same time making them so rich, they out gun the Mexican army.

I can save this country billions of dollars, and make billions at the same time, and solve the boarder problem, provide millions of jobs, create new industries, make renewable energy, create tourism, close jails, eliminate useless, and wasteful  government  agency's, provide the best schools, with sufficient funding. Heres my take on the whole subject, drugs are not the problem, the war on drugs is the problem.
