America sucks. When I was a kid, many moons ago, I'd look forward to the 4th of July for months, almost like Christmas. Today, some 40 years later, I see no reason to celebrate. The whole foundation of "independence day" has deteriorated into "just a god damned piece of paper". The day's when I could feel secure in my home, gone, and I aint talking about "crime" per say, I'm talking about our own government funded homegrown terrorists. I don't think people realize just how many "SWAT raids" for serving warrants, or some other foolishness, end with an innocent dead  person, or persons. I have a god damned right to NOT have the chance of a f*cked up raid happening to me or my family. If they're stupid enough to raid a MAYORS house, and kill his dogs, "by mistake", no one is safe from this major flaw in our governments role to "protect" the people from all threats, foreign, or domestic. Killing an 89 year old woman in a botched raid, then planting drugs to cover a blatant idiotic blunder, is all that's needed to put an end to this domestic terrorism, but did it? Or, shooting an unarmed mother holding her child, killing the mom and blowing a finger off the kid, that kind of sh*t is supposed to bring some sort of feeling of safety to all other citizens, knowing that the police have everything under control, or are at least trying to keep people safe. This is not safety, when anybody in America, has the chance that the police will inflict major harm, or death, by "mistake", under the guise of "public safety", this is urban terrorism. America has turned into what we used to fight wars over. This is not the land of the free anymore, this is a prison nation. America, the great humanitarian to the world, but the great neglector of the people. They take our money, waste it, then want more money, and waste it, and steal it, while their buddy's watch, and it works the other way too. And, for the amount of money I have extorted from my pay check every week, and the quality of government service, of which, I don't recieve any, it just piss's me off that they just keep blowing it on crap, I can blow my own money on crap, I don't need help. Anyhow, that's why the 4th of July is just another day, nothing worth celebrating, especially since we can't even buy fireworks anymore, what's to celebrate?
