I don't like our government having the supposed power to arrest with no charges, hold indefinitely, without a lawyer, search my house without a warrant, bust in my front door, shoot my dogs throw my kids on the floor and stand on their heads, in a botched SWAT raid. I don't like my daughter fighting in an illegal war, based on lies. I don't like the fact that our government can ASSASSINATE American citizens, without a trial, based only on suspicion. Those cops you mention, in LA, they plant drugs and guns on suspects, in case they kill them on accident, Ever heard of Rampart? The broad brush strokes are needed to cover all the crap.
And, have you ever been stopped and searched for no apparent reason? By the way, that's illegal too.

New Bu Fu: That's not the point. I appreciate some cops, and respect the fact that they deal with some real scum, then, there's the sheriff's. Whole different kind of "enforcement". When they're bored, watch out. My point was, that our "leaders", are ignoring everything our constitution stands for. They make absurd laws, that defy all logic, and human rights. The 'laws they now write don't even have definitions as to what is included in these "new rules". Like I said, there are 15 official different definitions for "terrorist". Most define what our government is doing over sea's, and some are so open ended, just questioning government policy can be considered a "threat", and, be sufficient to lock someone up for life with no trial. That's not the America I used to love. The phrase "all enemies, foreign, and domestic", applies here. The ones causing all the damage, in the name of "security", leave the borders open, but make new laws, to control OUR lives. Our government's main roll is to defend the constitution, and the country, not destroy them. And not be involved in every aspect of our private lives. Even free speech. And, there's a difference between "protecting", and looking for trouble, and, yes they do have quota's. Obviously, your not from Los Angeles, do a google on the "Rampart scandal", it hasn't changed.
