Okay, so maybe some guy's were "infrindging" on some copy rights in some foriegn country. Why the funk should we care? Why do our copy right "laws" apply in other countries? Why do we spend tax payer money to pursue this stuff? If someone rips you off and flees to another country, is our government going to have a multi-million dollar investigation? Record, and film executives have been ripping people off for years, why are we supplying the "law enforcement" for them? Are they that powerful that they have their own laws that apply worldwide? And the US government providing enforcement of those laws, at tax payer expense, worldwide. And just who is providing enforcement for SOPA? The laws written to deputize IP providers to police every bit of data on their servers, or risk getting them confiscated. Plus hefty fines, plus damages that the record Co. executives suck out of them. My whole arguement is, if it can be digitized, it's up to you to protect it. This law will create a whole new field of law enforcement, new departments, more courts, and no more warnings. With the NDAA, you only have to be suspected. And with no court intervention, or habeas corpus, them FEMA camps are gonna fill up fast.
