20 years old and a complete vegetable. What a waste. I'm talking about the cop, what a waste of space. Fighting bad guy's is one thing, but wasting a 20 year old girls life, isn't one of those things. He would have been more compassionate if he just killed her. Place yourself in his shoes just for a second. For some reason your dispatched to a call, you get there and there's a girl there, for whatever reason she runs away. Fearing for your life and the safety of untold innocent citizens, from a fleeing girl, you snap into action and instead of finding out where this apparent psychotic, out of control youth lives, and confronting her parents with the situation, and with mere seconds to react to this chaotic, dynamic, unforeseen outcome of a situation, you devise a plan to pump 20,000 volts of electricity, into her mid-stride, instead of grabbing her. Had it not been for your on your feet thinking seminars, and extensive training, you might have had to RUN after her, risking scuffing your patent leather buster browns in the process, or worse, you could slip rounding a corner on some damp grass, and get a grass stain on your clown pants. To hell with what may happen to the perpetrator, freezing up in mid-air and slamming her head into solid concrete from a five foot free-fall. So what if her family has to pay $20,000 a month to care for their new vegetable girl. So what if she didn't actually do anything illegal, she ran didn't she? That in itself justifies the total destruction of someone's future, doesn't it? And, double, so what if she's never been in trouble with the law, there's always a first time. And, so what if your life wasn't in any danger, it could have been. So what if she didn't pose an immediate danger to public safety, she might have. And so what if she "ran away", that's resisting arrest, and that could be dangerous. And so what if you devastated a life, before nine o'clock break, and didn't even break a sweat, could have broke a finger nail.
