In an absurd government, expect the absurd. In a terrorist regime, expect the US government. In it's ever expanding failure and human rights violations, the over-reaching insanity of the US drug war is spreading like a disease, inflicting it's misguided policies of "harm reduction" on people in countries that have their own laws, and have nothing to do with our failed policies. Marc Emery is a Canadian citizen, he lives in Canada as a condition of his citizenship. He's an energetic entrepreneur, making millions of dollars in an online business, running a successful shop in Canada, and he does public speaking in his spare time. You see, Marc is not a criminal, he hasn't harmed a soul, he earns an honest living in his country, and invests his profits in educating the mass's about how terrorists in foreign countries impose their will on people, threatening them with kidnapping, torture, plunder, indefinite detention, even death. This terrorist group spends it's time and money threatening people who don't agree with it's backward way of thinking. This terrorist organization goes around the world overthrowing whole governments, killing world leaders, and innocent civilians. Inflicting death and destruction everywhere it goes. The reason it's going after Marc, is that it doesn't like what Marc sells. It's not nuclear secrets, or bio-weapon technology, or child porn. It's something beneficial to mankind, environmentally friendly, natural, and none of the US governments business. Marc is an herbalist, he is an activist, and he's a good person.
The DEA, a terrorist organization bent on destruction, human rights violations, deception, lies, kidnapping, and death, has it in for Marc. Even though Marc hasn't committed any crime, (crime needs a victim) hasn't harmed anyone, doesn't even live in the US, the DEA feels it has the power to arrest people who violate our failed laws, in their own country. This my friends is terrorism at it's worst. Marc is facing life in prison, in the US, after being tried in a US court, for violating US laws, from Canada.
If the US government can go where ever it wants and arrest or kill people for violating it's laws, it's a terrorist regime.
Imagine some foreign police force busting down your door, and dragging you off to their country, to stand trial for violating their laws. And you did nothing wrong. They just have absurd laws that they inflict on the world. Or, imagine sitting down to dinner and a drone strike from Canada takes out your whole block, but they were after your neighbor, four doors down.
Marc sold high quality cannabis seeds over the internet. In Canada, they don't have a problem with that. He invested the profits from that into educating the public on the failed US drug war, and on cannabis prohibition in particular. The US government doesn't like education, the truth, or free will.
