President Barak Obama's resignation is being considered ....

Rate: 2 Flag

................. least, it may not be something he is considering, but now I have your attention lets move on with the story.

After all these months of political manouvering, and using a crises to gain political points, rather than working with the teams who are trying to address the issue, could it be that there are those who are recognising that a crises needs action by everyone.

No calling a press conference to tell prospective voters what will be told to the ones demonized and what he will expect them to do, knowing that the same person had already made offers publicly that were much the sme, albeit not being done through a 3rd party. (Most of the world do try to talk to the other party 1st, then maybe report what has been discussed through the media.)

Crises requires action, not bitter fighting, least thats how it has worked through history. Now , could it be happening?

An AMERICAN Coast Guard has dispatched emergency teams after a boat has crashed into an oil well off the coast of New Orleans, reportedly sending crude oil some 20ft into the air.

Could it be an AMERICAN boat that has struck an oil well that was sited, again, in accordance with the directions of successive American Presidents to fulfill an American desire to have more oil than equates with a fair share with the rest of the world.

The wellhead, located about 65 miles (104 kilometers) south of New Orleans, was ruptured when it was struck by a dredge barge being pulled by a tug.

The Coast Guard said it could not immediately confirm reports that a giant fountain of oil was now spewing from the damaged wellhead, which was situated only six feet (1.8 meters) below the surface of the sea.

A strike Coast Guard team from Mobile, Alabama had been dispatched by boat to the scene as well as a helicopter from New Orleans with a marine pollution investigator on board.

"There have been reports of oil from the elision and we are investigating those reports to mitigate any environmental concerns," petty officer William Colclough, a Coast Guard spokesman, told AFP.

"The oil spill liability trust fund has been enacted to provide monetary support for any clean-up operation."

Unrelated to the massive gusher recently capped by BP deep down on the seabed, the incident did occur in a nearby part of the Gulf of Mexico and could require clean-up vessels to be redeployed if reports are confirmed

Well, more debates on OS about another oil crises coming up? Or will there be a realisation this time that this is just one part of an international ecological disaster that the rest of the world has been concerned about, but the main user of the oil looked the other way, till it emerged in their own back yard.

Just thought I would stir the spillage a bit, now that the we have all come to the real global world. Could it be if I venture into the controversial issues of oil that the editors will notice I am here? Or ill we need to supply oil to those flying pigs.    lol

I think I will now retire to a safe distance, and watch the fire works going off ..................
Misleading title = bye bye
There are no rules at OS about misleading titles. This is an interesting discussion and that is that.

The fact is, though, that the freaks and nut cases will try just about anything to end his presidency early, if just to win at least one of their silly games, but then they would have Joe Biden...what a ride that will be!
Now I wonder which was the biggest dissappointment Progressive? lol.

Sadly, it is a site that many do not bother with the writing unless it is of a particular slant etc.
Zuma, thank you for your support once again.

Have you seen the blog started by my daughter? She is in USA for 6 weeks and is recording the events on OS under the name of LaineyDee.
Thank you Moana also for the rating.
