And Who Will Lead Us Now?
I passionately believed in Barack Obama, campaigned for and eagerly voted for him. I was jubilant - even giddy - when he was elected. I breathed a sigh of relief believing the world had just been - if you'll forgive the term - righted again.
Almost a year later, I'm experiencing… Read full post »
The New Medium Message: Promote the Divide
I guess there's just no precentage (rating, that is) in promoting that old Rodney King 'getting along' thing.
Power-mongers purposefully stirring up ugly, near-violent confrontations based mostly on lies that go willfully uncorrected by press and media - well - that's life today i… Read full post »
The New Republican Oath of Office.
Ms. Palin decided it was better for Alaska if she quit the job they elected her to do eighteen months early. (Hey - not to worry. She'll get stuff done with the press/media now treating Facebook as a NEWS source).
Mr. Martinez didn't feel like hanging around Senate to finish the term… Read full post »
President Obama, Anderson Cooper and Walter Cronkite

In some important ways h… Read full post »
The GOP a.k.a. the Headless Horsemen.
I know a lot of Republicans. A few are friends. Some are family members. Others I simply observe.
These are NOT stupid people. Far from it. But there's something wrong with their inability or unwillingness to identify and support intelligent, respectable party leaders.

Listening to Chris Matthews and the Republicans?
It's been President Obama for less than two weeks but to hear it from the press, media and pundits, his stimulus plan is too big/too little; he's keeping his campaign promises but they're going to fail ('Gitmo)/he's not keeping his campaign promises (Iraq); he's just going to let the rich keep… Read full post »
Now I'm Thinking It Over.
It seemed reasonable after two early divorces that I was not suited for marriage. I translated that into I'm not suited for relationship. Now I'm having second thoughts.
After all, what's the point of making mistakes if we don't learn from them? And, I did learn from my failed marriages. … Read full post »
