Morrease the Ghost

I see the empty spaces in the photos. Chairs sit without inhabitants, tables without entrees. They’re in my dream. Yet, the music plays on…bach on cello. Strings eerily move by themselves. I wait for the body to materialize.  But it doesn’t, not this time.  He doesn&rsquo/… Read full post »

Mermaid & Genie & A Thing Called Hope

mermaid: mermaid stock photos

"Wet feet are nature’s beauty,” so said the mermaid as she gazed at her tail. Determined to change her fate she wiggled her nose, cupped her hands over the evil eye charm, blinked three times and wished for feet and wound up intercepting a distress call from Satifah as sheRead full post »

The Wolf Speaks

Wolf : She-wolf in the cage of the Moscow zoo Stock Photo

Wolves have entered our subconscious. They're on the TV, the Net. It's more than politics. I think these majestic, beautiful animals are trying to convey a message. The wolf as an animal totem represents: guardianship, ritual, loyalty and spirit. The book, Animal Speak by Ted Andrews mentions… Read full post »

Celebrate Freedom to Read

Let's celebrate the freedom to read .  As a writer and avid reader like many these days I'm reading all about S-Rah. The p-hen -nom- makes me at times curious, nauseaus, uncertain and down right depressed. Other times I want to scream and stomp in disbelief demanding, "Where's the real… Read full post »

Touched Objects

Is democracy threatened?

This summer I had the opportunity to go to Istanbul. While there I learned that Turkey has direct censorship and that it's a crime to speak against the government.  It's one of the reasons many speculate that Turkey will have difficulty being admitted into the EU.

I noticed the censorship… Read full post »

Waiting for G

Futuristic Perspective of the Fuel Crisis

CNG - The Other Kind of Gas

With gas prices nearing $5.00/gallon all summer I've been studying natural gas, CNG for months and considering getting the Honda GX Natural Gas car .  It's been looking better and better. CNG is only about a $1.75 a gallon and even cheaper if you have a home filling station.&… Read full post »

Email Sex Changes, Farts and Dates?

My email knows so many things about me. It sees right through me, understanding my deepest needs. It knows I have a penis, which needs to be enlarged and energized. It knows I need prescriptions meds, Viagra of course. I can’t cavort with the ladies if I don’t have an erect… Read full post »

There comes a time when every deep thinker must realize that we live in a world that is dumb and getting dumber by the day. The dopes have won. Say it fast, say it slow. Say it again until you believe it like them. But don’t lift a finger thinking aboutRead full post »
