A simple song, a little story of everyday metaphysics...for anyone who likes the tune! I am a mind-body-spirit writer and energy healer! I love bringing joy to people! And when we remember to see ourselves for who we really are--our Spirit, our essence, which always, always comes from Divine Love--joy is the most natural feeling in the world! *** My little book, Along the Winding Path: A Little Personal Journey, is available on Amazon.com! It's a tale of traveling the spiritual path in today's world, and it's written with healing energy in mind! Part myth, part meditation, this story wants to bring us to a place of peace and joy in life!

Loving Our Embrace of All That Is Higher!

Rate: 9 Flag

So as we consider the thought of all that is Higher in Life, some transcendent presence beyond our earthly existence, we may begin to Love the idea of Spirit, however we begin to perceive all that is Love, compassion, joy, and bliss!

Even as we cultivate this presence in our mind, body, and Spirit, we may wonder how we begin to allow it to infuse our daily Life—how we begin to Live at One with All That Is!

This Love of Life that is rich in Spirit is easier to achieve than we may at first think. We are all made of Spirit to begin with—physically composed of the Divine Love and Light energies that make up physical mass—as we perceive those Love and Light energies with our physical senses!

And so, if we turn our attention, our focus, a little away from the immediate physical, sensory perceptions towards the energies that underlie them, we begin to perceive with our broader awareness, our true perception that always exists beyond our sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch!

Although these five physical senses are wondrous in themselves, as they lend themselves to our glorious existence here, we do have an innate Knowing beyond all our sensory input that we exist beyond such a narrow focus. We innately Know, if we can even conceive of the thought of our Self, even in questioning who and what we are, that we exist in Consciousness. Consciousness is itself our true Being!

How, then, do we Live our daily lives at One with Spirit, in tune with our Higher Selves, our Souls? For each of us, Life is all about how we go through it! No choices are greater or lesser than others, and we in truth hold ourselves accountable for how we Live and what we learn from it.

The Truth of this great Divine Mystery is that we let ourselves into the Knowing, into recognizing and embracing the fact that we are all Divine Love itself, here to Live our physical lives on Earth! The archetypal stories of having to solve the riddles posed by the sages, the sphinxes, the wise travelers appearing on roads, abound throughout cultures near and far, old and new. The Truth is always that we let ourselves in, into Knowing the Truth itself. The Truth is we can only give ourselves the gift of opening ourselves to the Divine!

In embracing, truly embracing, all that is Divine over all that is limited to physical existence, we leave behind thoughts and mental constructs of what we’ve invested ourselves in, often our intellectual Life’s work. In making this shift to the transcendent over the known horizons of our world, we may discover the treasure that is richer and vaster than anything we could have deferred to before!

I, for one, Love the way the Divine actually enriches everything we can Know here even in earthly terms, in physical properties of how Nature and our Universe work! The more we access true understanding of the Divine Mystery, the more we move beyond seeing limitations that some would ascribe to us in this Life. And we move into greater understanding of the awe-inspiring wonders of Nature and the Universe itself!

I wish for anyone who aspires to embrace the Divine Love that creates our world that the Divine Mystery opens to them easily!

Loving the embrace itself as we Live all that is Higher!

I.can't.say.that.I.understand.this.divine.energy,.but
A.visit.to.your.page,Julie...always.lifts.my.spirits.
hey!...maybe.that's.the.whole.idea!
That's exactly the idea, Amanda! And hey-- you're plenty Divine yourself, so maybe that's why it doesn't seem like something to understand, as if it's outside yourself! Just Being will do a whole lot!! Love, Julie

(Hmm... It's so evident in so much in Life! Maybe thinking of children, and that force that so visibly flows through them, paints it clearly!!)
The Light will keep me safe. Especially from the Dark. Which is plenty. It really is.
Embracing the Divine mystery for me involves opening more to the purity of it, which means letting go of a shadow or darkness in consciousness, which isn't always obvious that that is what it is, until I let the light in, in that particular place which by illuminating it, which reveals it and eliminates it. Sounds simple right? Not always. Sometimes those nook and crannies of denial can fool us. Atleast that's what has happened to me.
Hi, Leon! Yes, there is plenty of dark, or not-Light, and it seems to be getting stirred up these days (fear, anxiety, more)... But it does always turn back to Light ultimately -- and I Know we're doing what we can!! More Light brings more Light, until it flows everywhere!!

So happy you're here, as always!! (I just realized I think I'll give you a superhero name -- SuperLightMan! Maybe Leon's just a cover for that!!)
It's so true, Anne, that we simply get used to the way we feel -- and don't even notice it, or call it what it is -- when it's something less than Light, Love, Joy, Bliss!! A return to Light is a return to our original nature, and how we meant to Live here!!

And cuz we're human, we do always have some not-Light to uncover... but we Know it's worth doing the work! The reward is Joy, and so much more...

Perfect Illumination here from you!! Thank you, dear Anne!!
Julie, you talk deep words and thoughts here...but there is simplikcity here too. At essense, seek out that which inspires and lifts us...avoid that which does not. It is some of the same thoughts we share at our church, with the Devine in that case being God as I know Him.
It is amazing how all of these thoughts follow each other so well.
Thanks for making me think.
Thanks, JD! And, of course, you've got it exactly! Seek Love, Joy, Appreciation, Bliss -- and call it whatever you'd like cuz it's all from God, Divine -- and that's the Divine's Highest expression!

I Love comparative thinking -- like, say, my Comp. Literature (+ Film) degree, or Joseph Campbell's comparative mythology! To me, this is what all the great traditions, religions, mythologies, healing practices are saying -- we are Love!

I believe Jesus was here to teach us Love (to me, not a single word of His is anything else, except maybe for some direct confrontations to counter what was not Love) -- and some people find that in church, some in Nature or their own beliefs... Just like Krishna and so many others, too many to name, in all cultures... We're just all trying to find that expression that says who we are, what we're made of, and how we really want to Live -- and how our Universe really works!

I Love thinking of all of these Divine Beings and Divine components of our world and bringing them together!

Always good to see you -- and I Love that you're here!!
Julie, you are so positive and wonderful and I believe you are spiritual. But here's where I stumble. If we're spirits who choose the world of form in order to experience it, why would we seek the spirit underlying, or beyond, the world of form? Why wouldn't we simply revel (and I don't mean debauch here) in the world of form? Isn't that the task at hand, as it were? Being, but Being in Time and Space: savoring, smelling, caressing, seeing the beauty, hearing the harmony.
I wish I could make my mother focus a little outside herself to see the beauty around her and open her soul to the divine beauty and enjoy nature. She is willing herself to slip away and I am helpless.
Thank you, Julie, this was uplifting for me. Rated
JulieShanti, how very inspirational, in a world so filled with ugly at times. I embrace my spirit within the Church and in nature and all the lovlinesses both have to offer. In wanting control, we lose sight of how good it is to let that part of us go, and just live. Thanks for the awareness!
Pilgrim! You ask the Big questions, of course! And first off, no one should let me or anyone else tell them how to live or think!

As to your question, I'm smiling because you're asking that as someone who is integrated with Spirit -- it shows in all you do here, and I'm sure at home, as well! Even your question is infused with the Beauty we all get to Know!

For anyone who's caught by the harsher energies of sensory stimuli in a world that's not always calm (or ever, for some), though, this kind of Knowing is one way to be uplifted -- to that place where we Know ourselves as Spirit, as well as human, while we live in this world of Time/Space/Senses!

And blending with Spirit, our own Soul or true essence, really allows us to live beyond and within the sensory perceptions of this world at the same time! It doesn't actually negate them -- it enriches them, and enriches everything, so we can bask as you say!!

Which is not to say that I am right, and any other question or POV is not...

And as to moving farther along that path to being One with Spirit, that is just a question of who we are and how we'd like to do this thing we call Life here -- no one prescription for it! I remember pondering the same myself, from Amma of India, who says that the point of Life is to Know what is beyond this world here. Of course, it is one of those riddles, a statement that itself opens our perception wider just by thinking about it...

And we all come from and return to Love in any case, so that Knowing is inevitable! The question for us is how much of that Knowing we'd like to bring in during our Life and when... For me, the answer is more, more, more!! I'm sure you can tell that even as I Love answering your question!

Lovely, as always, to have your Presence here! And you truly are blended with Spirit (integrated mind, body, and soul as we Live here on Earth) -- that's why people flock to you, with that Beautiful essence of yours like those birds and flowers you Love!! Love, Julie
Fusun -- Hello, and I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. Death is certainly hard on those of us who are left here, still wanting our Loved ones' presence.

We do all return to Love and the Divine itself when we go, though -- it's merely a transition outside of this dimension. We become at One with our Soul again, broader and older and wiser, and more Loving, even, of course!

We often ask people to stay with us here, to stay longer, and sometimes they do. It is good, too, if we can, to ask Spirit ourselves that someone we Love be returned to Love, to Joy -- and they will return to it, either here or at Home.

I Know your mother Loves you, and she truly brought up such a Beautiful child in you! I would bring some of those Beautiful flowers of hers inside, as I'm sure you're doing! (Bowls full of pink cherry blossoms and more!) I'd help to fill her senses with fragrance and Beauty so she has that surrounding her. It's good to feel happy even as other decisions may be being made, and some new journey starting...

You will have her Presence, however things go, and you'll be able to listen for her, especially through things that connect you in Joy...

Tell her I'm saying hi to her and you both! And I'll send some soft, gentle healing light to you, as well... Please ask me for prayers & meditation (specific, if you'd like), too, as it helps...

Love to you for all the Love you bring here,
Julie
Thanks, Cindy! I, too, have found Loveliness in church and in Nature, and in so much more... It really is all around us -- and all we have to do is attune ourselves to it! I always Love things that remind me to!!

And your Spirit and awareness shows!!
Mystery -- oh yes.... Thank you for the reminder that it is a good thing, Julie. I have been uncomfortable this week with unknowns.... wanting everything to be all figured out. But that is not a position of faith, is it?

Much love to you. :-).
It's simply human, Patty, isn't it?! We all feel that way sometimes... But there's always something more happening, something beyond what we can see, hear, taste, touch, smell! So it's good to sit in the stillness and open our perception wider!!

I Know so much good is coming to you, Patty!! Love to you! Julie
"we are all Divine Love itself, here to Live our physical lives on Earth!"
I believe this completely.
