A simple song, a little story of everyday metaphysics...for anyone who likes the tune! I am a mind-body-spirit writer and energy healer! I love bringing joy to people! And when we remember to see ourselves for who we really are--our Spirit, our essence, which always, always comes from Divine Love--joy is the most natural feeling in the world! *** My little book, Along the Winding Path: A Little Personal Journey, is available on Amazon.com! It's a tale of traveling the spiritual path in today's world, and it's written with healing energy in mind! Part myth, part meditation, this story wants to bring us to a place of peace and joy in life!

Loving Seeing the Light in Everyone!

Rate: 8 Flag
When we see our Self in the mirror that is our daily Life, we have the choice of seeing our Self as it appears in this world—contained in a body, fairly defined within parameters, and seemingly limited in terms of choices—or we can see our Self as it truly Lives, eternal, powerful, and connected with All That Is!

When we choose to see our Self as our eternal Self, then we also discover a new way of seeing other people, of seeing all of us as different parts of the Oneness! This new Knowing, as we develop it within our Self, speaks to us through our hearts and connects all of us through this Loving energy!

When we see our Self as part of the Oneness, our personal perspective of Life widens and opens to the whole! As we see the Divine Light that composes us all, that energy that amassed gives us form, then we begin to understand that this Light can only be One. The Light that we really are made of, each and every one of us, diminishes boundaries that seem to separate us as we begin to see and perceive everything around us anew!

In a world where we see the Light that connects everyone, Love, Peace, and kindness rule!

When each of us is not separate from the other, how do hurtfulness, oppression, domination, and war take hold? Simply stated, they don’t. Instead, as we see the Light always shining in everyone, Love smoothes the way and soothes the Soul!

What would it take, then, for this new way of seeing each other to take root and flourish? How do we begin to think in a way that calls us back to the Divine Love we really Know? Change always entails letting go of the old, and then allowing and embracing the new!

We do already see Light in each other when we see what we Love and what makes us smile. What makes us feel warm and connected to another is the energy of the heart, and we are centered in that energy ourselves when we feel compassion, kindness, and caring.

What this change to seeing us all as One really means is not so much an entirely new way of connecting with people, but a more constant one, with a more consistent practice of looking for Love and that all-composing Light in each one of us! I Know we can do it with dedication and practice!

This remembering to practice our looking for Love in our Self and in one another is often called awakening from our slumber, our dream, our illusion. The slumber, the dream, the illusion always mean that we have temporarily forgotten, and are not remembering what we really Know, that we all come from Divine Love and can truly Be nothing else!

The New Age so often talked about is really quite simple—it is the time when compassion rules! It is the time when Divine Light shows us the way, when mind, body, and Soul are One! It is the time when we remember what we really Know, and when we Live as our Higher Self always does!

The New Age begins the instant we
stop seeing with what Blake calle d th e "corporeal eyes"
and view the cosmos
in its unified
gestalt.

The tug away from that is
only200 or so years of considering us in
a
1.mechanical
or
2.lately, random
universe.

Heart can resist that foolish intellectual tug, some
times...
Beautiful, James! It's true that we shift from our physical eyes to our inner eye, that of our Spirit, in doing so -- and I would say that that's how we're always seeing, anyway! (Might as well give ourselves credit!) And also true that it's the intellectual attempt to explain our Universe, good in itself but not all-encompassing, that may take us away from the heart! But here we are, still human, still Who We Really Are!!

Lovely having you here, and seeing your wonderful, Light-filled words -- in Spirit, of course!! Love, Julie
o, in spirit of course...
yet spirit is not only the apex of our ascending quest
but the ladder we climb
as well....

of course give yrself credit...the inner eye is
always at work, even when
the outer seems to
dominate in its banality...

to see banality as beauty is our hope.....

for samsara IS nirvana,

or so they say anyway
Jali, we shine them hard ....the light always conquers the dark....
even if it takes days, weeks,
or years...

hopefully our lights are strong enough
it only takes minutes...
So Lovely, James! Just Being, Julie
Jali! (I'm behind you guys!!) You always ask the big questions!! So many aspects in the answers to your question, and James has got it right, too!

Here's something: Trust. Trust that the Light is all there is, and that we all Be it, even if it is sometimes only more visible after our death, or going Home... (It's understandable that this world here may cause enough distraction, and misdirection, to make it a little hidden to ourself!)

Know. Know that Source, God, the Universe is always reaching everyone! And that no one would be here in the first place if it wasn't! (Ahhh...)

Believe. Believe in that Light in someone else so powerfully that that's all you see! As in, see the inner and not the outer! The inner Light always shines, though the outer personality may dissuade...
(And we seem to understand that that's exactly how Jesus healed!)

Align. Align ourselves so that all we see is the Light -- in anyone, no matter what we see externally! Something within us is not aligned with total Light in that moment when we can see something other in someone else. (Oh yes, we all do it!)

Remember. Remember that the Highest Light always subsumes every other lower energy! We'll watch the stars implode to remind ourselves...

Surrender. Surrender to the Love that flows through. And in so doing, realize that everyone is here for their own, individual purpose on their own path -- which may or may not complement ours! Some who are the most resistant to openly flowing Light may be the strongest inspiration to someone else, or many others, to do exactly that! (We're all in this together!)

If we're worried about someone who's having a hard time, then we can find Peace in Knowing that there is only Love and Peace, ultimately, and in the returning-to-Home cycle.

And if we're worried about someone who's causing a hard time for others -- a tough one, sometimes, especially when seen up close -- then, too, we all return to Love, both victimizer and victim... (I've had to learn about this one myself, more than once!)

The more we personally align with Love, and the better we get at it, the more it's all we see and all we Know -- even through our senses!

Love to you, Jali, for fighting the good fight!! Always, Julie
And Amen to you, again, James! Thank you for shining here!!
As for Jali's question, I'm learning that if you let the person who doesn't believe in themselves and the light and God's love that is in them then you can be a friend and let them know that You Believe in Them . If that isn't possible I pray and visualize handing them over to the light to God and pray that a window of opportunity opens where they can receive that light.

As Julie says, the stronger you are in your own faith the stronger you can be for others by being a reflection of the Divine Light!

Blessings Julie proclaimer of the light!
So much Love and Light here! Thank you, Anne! And what a nice gathering answering Jali! (We all have the questions, don't we!)

Always One with you and your own work of Love! Julie
As Pogo would say today, I have seen the Light and it's in us.
Thanks, Julie, James, and Jali (my middle name and "family" name is Joyce). This is so enlightening to those who've never studied these truths and those who have but forget them when people's fear cause them to act in hateful ways. Thanks for the reminder. Rated
I love the idea of unity. We are all in the light. However lately it seems America is so polarized. It scares me. Thank you for the hope.
Hi, Jali! Flashlights are good, ya know...

And Leon! Pogo!! Only you! I haven't thought about him in years... And you're both right! It's in you!!
Hi, Diva! Made me think of James Joyce just then, for a long time my favorite! Sounds like we J's have it, and you may have something extra!! Thanks for joining the en-lightening!!

As are you, D. Sir Brian!

What you're seeing is happening, Zanelle, mostly inflamed by media and politics, to my way of thinking. But don't let them show you the way to think!

To me, it's the last gasp of that dueling duality, us vs. them, as we head to this Oneness, which may frighten some as we have to let go of our old way of thinking (if we think that old way to begin with)!

Its grip at the moment feels tenacious, and we can't compel anyone even as we may Light the way! But even as others stay fighting, and may choose not to leave that fight in body or mind, we may choose to Be elsewhere, where the Living is fine!! Love is all around, if that's what we choose!!

Love to everybody here!! Your presence is such a gift to me!! Love, Julie
I love you, Julie!!!
this is the difference between compassion or judgement also
Amanda!! The girlwonder of Love is here!!

Kathy -- You're so right! Judgment is always a function of the ego-mind and what we've learned from others here. Our Souls Know only Love and don't participate in that... It's quite a lesson to learn, even when looking at ourselves! (And don't we all Know about that!)

More Love to you all!!! Julie
Julie, you're an original. The original. None like you this side of the Milky Way. So much goodness! (Off-blog too, I hope.)
Love, peace and kindness rule. I've been the recipient of several random acts of kindness this week. Stranger kindness. Love that stuff. Nice post, Julie!
I Love that stuff, too, Kissing!! What a difference it makes in our world!! And there's a reason it's coming to you, too!! Love and more random acts of LovingKindness to you!! Julie
True to my heart, Leon!
What a beautiful sentiment, and profound truth you speak here. It is in essence the sanskrit prayer, the oldest ever found.

Thank you so much for sharing this, and bringing a little more love into the world.
Thank you, Doug!! I see and feel and appreciate your Beauty, as well!!

I can see that you're erudite as well as world-experienced, so I'm sure you already Know that "shanti" is Sanskrit for peace! It's always been my favorite word in all the chants! I was introduced to the Loveliness of Hindu traditions through Amma of India, and they have played yet another wonderful role in my Love of Spirit's practice here!

So you are right with me here, of course!! Love to you and all you bring to this world! Julie
This truly is mindfulness. Thank you again for sharing.
Thank you, Mary Ellen!! Love to you in all of your days! Julie
Thank you for this reminder Julie.
Thank you, Laura!!
Fiat lux, , mellita.
Sweetness, Leon!! Let it be!!
