A simple song, a little story of everyday metaphysics...for anyone who likes the tune! I am a mind-body-spirit writer and energy healer! I love bringing joy to people! And when we remember to see ourselves for who we really are--our Spirit, our essence, which always, always comes from Divine Love--joy is the most natural feeling in the world! *** My little book, Along the Winding Path: A Little Personal Journey, is available on Amazon.com! It's a tale of traveling the spiritual path in today's world, and it's written with healing energy in mind! Part myth, part meditation, this story wants to bring us to a place of peace and joy in life!

Loving the Power of Gentleness!

Rate: 9 Flag

So we Live in a world of noise—of different vibrations of energy and people with different intentions and states of Being at any moment in time—that may not always sound the way we'd like it to, even if we would Love to be in a place of Peace and Love with our world our Self!

Given that we are each here to Live in a world of diversity, a world composed of a broad range of interests, concerns, preferences, and experiences, how do we Live the way we would choose for our Self, even as we Live in the midst of what may feel like a raging sea?

Gentleness actually gives us our answer—even though it may seem counter-intuitive! In an attitude of gentleness, we breathe easily and allow the frequencies of all-powerful Love to flow through us, without restraint. This allowing of Love to flow through us is the surrender that people often speak of.

We are not surrendering to others or to what influences may swim all around us—but to our own Spirit, which always surrounds us and always wants to find its way in!

Our gentleness sends us to that place of Peace we so desire, our inner quiet no matter what is happening around us. The way to Live a Life of Love so sweetly comes from gentleness and Peace—and as we make our own choices to Live this Love, we can choose to adore everything else!

In releasing resistance against anyone or anything different from us, we first free our own personal energy field—and mind, thoughts, and feelings—from the influence of others. Adoring what is different from us, adoring a variety of people with different views and actions and intents, may seem like something other than our first impulse, especially when we feel a mix of emotions and energies around us. But adoring is actually the attitude that our Source, our God, our Universe always carries for each of us!

In holding our Self steady in a state of adoring, not only do we rise to the frequencies of Divine Love our Self, but we also only connect with that Divine spark of Light in others, rather than any outward and temporary manifestation of personality!

Our decision to hold our Self in the all-powerful, ever-present frequencies of Love is our decision to Live Consciously, aware of Who We Really Are. In our Conscious decision to Live our Life in Love, and even in the simple choice of choosing gentleness and Peace, we reconnect with all that is Divine in our Self—and in everyone around us!

After all, we are each Divine in Truth—and none of us would be here on Earth, or anywhere else, without that Divine spark of Light that creates us in the first place! As we Remember that spark of Light that is our true Self, we can truly see only the Light in everyone and everything else!

In our Remembering Who We Really Are—each and every one of us—we recognize the power of gentleness and Peace as it flows through our Life!

What a Lovely gift to give to our Self!

In gentle and Peaceful thoughts of Loving Light for us all!

Julie

I love being able to comment on, and rate your posts before they are up. It's a great test of my psychic power. RATED! :)
And I Love you for that, David! It seems to be a gift I have -- or someone has ;)!! Always Love seeing you, as you Know! ♥ Love, Julie
I love the gentle. I have found though... it's a person capacity for it is directly related to what they were taught as a child. A gentle touch, a gentle attitude... all are taught to us.. Perhaps someone will learn this from you today, Julie... Thank you..
I am so much with you on this, but also feel that we must speak the truth in love and seek justice for oneself AND others...This may lead to confrontation...
gentleness is a commendable trait - but it only works if you are reciprocated gentleness. otherwise you might become a martyr to someone else's ungentle behavior.
Julie; this sums it up for me:
In releasing resistance against anyone or anything different from us, we first free our own personal energy field—and mind, thoughts, and feelings—from the influence of others

Then we aren't reacting ==we are in balance and can think clearly as to how we want to respond. Most of the time just not reacting diffuses any conflicts, but in the case of maybe what Tichanna and Patrick are saying, the other may continue with their energy and we can decide to confront or peacefully protest and suffer the consequences as in Ghandi.
Insightful as always. I visit your blog frequently, Julie. Sometimes to read and comment, sometimes just to be inspired. I'm so glad you're here.
Hi, guys! Thanks for your thoughts and comments! And it's a long conversation we could have about this whole subject of Love and gentleness, isn't it! I appreciate you all!

AskMe -- Thank you, kind, gentle One! I hear you, and a gentle environment certainly is a wonderful way to Know gentleness! Perhaps we can say that we're all born Loving and gentle -- to individual degrees, of course -- and so often we unlearn that?

I do think that we as humans pass down behaviors not reflecting Love and gentleness that are actually a whole lot of work to maintain -- but we can always Remember our True nature, whenever we decide to, with focus and care!

Thank you for your kindness to me!
Hi, Patrick! Yes, social justice and more are important! And I Know you're out there doing good work! This is such a big subject in terms of energy (here, personal) and how to parse our understanding -- and work -- with it!

I've been there myself, too, where I set myself against what I perceived to be personal/spiritual/community wrong -- and what I learned the not-so-easy way is that the "against" stance takes us away from Love ourself! (Although we Know and see this even out of this energy context, as well, don't we?!)

One thought: a good way to uplift others is to set the model that we're "for" rather than work against something else that is...

And that's why the kids are always starting things anew! It's a really good way to stay centered in the energy of Love and maintain our self-empowerment! (Not always easy, but it's a good way to refocus our energy!)
Hi, Tichaona! It's true that when gentleness abounds, gentleness is a natural way! In no way would I say to subject oneself to an abuse of personal power of any kind. And we have no right and no way to change another's intentions, which is what I believe that kind of situation often comes down to...

Best not to continue subjecting ourself to very harsh people or environments if we are gentle ourself. And if we do choose situations that match our own expressed nature, our gentleness does draw the gentleness of others, as well as like-minded people.

Fortunately, I believe that the energies of Love are always the most powerful -- not a small force to reckon with, when we truly embody it, and not at all a weak or submissive force -- and gentleness, especially towards oneself, (even post-destructive situation) does allow Love in as healing and renewing...
Hi, Anne! You do hit it -- that it's about resistance. It's interesting and complex living in a world of so many different factors in people, etc. And yes, some others will continue energies that are abusive and power-driven.

In resisting someone else's behavior, we are deciding to engage -- though in certain contexts where we may feel we don't define the context, we may not feel that we are making that decision. Best, again, to make the decision to seek out different contexts...

As for Gandhi, yes, a lot, a lot of people have been sacrificed to those lower intentions throughout history. Gandhi was not only a supreme practitioner of gentleness and Love, but he also had larger-than-life impact on and success in the political world, thanks to his practice.

I would say that the perception of his immense political power set him in an arena where others decided to fight against him. And yet, who else would have accomplished all that he did? And his influence on the world today is still immeasurable, especially in terms of Love...
It is all really interesting and complex -- and all of these valid understandings show how much of a pull we have between our world, say, and Higher ways...

And yet, the more we move to Love, the more we bring our world with us! And I believe that's where we're going, for those of us who decide that that's what we want! (And for those who want to stay in the fray of things, we have to allow them to make their own choices...)
Hi, Fay! And thanks! Always so sweet to hear from you!

Love to you all! ♥ Julie
